Great Filter for Small Pools - Fast Delivery and Effective Performance
I was thrilled to receive this filter with same-day delivery when I needed it urgently for my cowboy pool setup. The timing couldn't have been better! This filter is perfectly sized for smaller pools like mine. The compact design fits nicely into the tub without taking up too much space, and the 6 rubber grippers do an excellent job keeping it securely positioned - no sliding around or floating issues. The pump provides good water circulation that has kept my pool water clear and clean. The UV sterilizer feature is a nice addition, though there's no visible indicator to confirm it's working. I'm assuming it's doing its job since the water quality has been consistently good, but a small LED light or indicator would give more confidence that the UV function is active. My main complaint is with the hose length and thickness. It's just barely long enough to reach over the side of my pool, leaving very little margin. A few extra inches would make positioning much easier. The hose is also on the thin side and could benefit from being slightly more robust. I had to improvise a way to secure it in place since it doesn't quite have the reach I'd prefer. Another annoyance is having two separate power cords that need to be plugged in - it would be much more convenient if everything ran off a single cord. Additionally, the power cord itself could be longer, which would make more sense when using this equipment near water where you need safe distance from electrical outlets. Overall, it's an effective filter that does the job well for small pools. Just be aware of the hose and power cord limitations when planning your setup.

This filter works for 200 gallon inflatable pool!
This filter worked wonders for removing fine dust from bottom of my 200 gallon inflatable pool! I had tried a battery operated pool vacuum, lots of time trying with pool nets for fine particles, but nothing worked until I tried this filter system. It took about almost 3 days, but cleared the water as if I just filled it. The removable baffle filter was coated with dirt, but I was able to clean with strong jet hose washing. I expect to get several more uses out of it. In the meantime, now that the water is clean, I run the filter for about 2 to 3 hours on days I have the pool uncovered and it has stayed crystal clear. Some things to point out: - it has sunction cups for attaching to side of pool. These don't work on inflatable pools. But I just lay the filter on it's side holding it down until water fills it and it stays underwater by itself at bottom of pool, then plug in both the pump and uv filter. They are connected to each other, but can be easily uncoupled. - now to remove the baffle filter from the housing, the instructions do say this, but you just squeeze the end where the cap comes off and then the cap can be removed. It was not easy for me with my arthritic hands, but can be done. This part could be improved. - also be aware that the baffle filter can only be correctly inserted in one way. There is a small cut out at one end of it that allows space for the cord so that the cap can be snapped down completely. Overall, I could not be happier with this filter system! It keeps me from having to empty the pool and refill with fresh water! Highly recommend!

Good value, some adaptation needed for fringe uses
Neat, although required some modification to make work. See pictures; I use this in the Pod Company Long Pod, which has a volume of 100gal. You might say that this pump is too large for that size.. but hear me out. Ice baths are a pain in the rear to control for temperature, because the puny 1/2" ports they are equipped with from factory offer little by way of circulation. This means that the chiller, if used with the cartridge filter and no feeder pump will be permanently starved for water. I opted to nix the filter on the chiller, and instead use this pump as a dedicated water treatment system and agitator. For that purpose this thing is great. It rotates the entire pod about every 10 minutes. I added a tee and extension to the end to split the flow and reduce the flow speed by half in either direction. The outlet is a hair over 1/2" ID, so the brass CTS end from the Tectite Push fit Tee fits very snug. You can also insert 1/2" PEX tubing, that will need retention screws to avoid unwanted expulsion and turning (I used M3 machine screws). UV light works. Cartridge filter is cheap, but also works. Depending on your needs you could feasible replace this with filter media from your local aquarium supply, which would make for easier cleaning and better flow.

Cheap junk
I’m not even going to bother with this one. I opened it up and it’s flimsy and cheap. I took it apart to look at the filter and bulb, and it felt like it was going to snap in half just putting it back together. I didn’t see this lasting more than a year so I’m returning it. Don’t waste your time.

Not so great
Used for maybe two months and the motor stopped working. Tried to reach out to the manufacturer with no response. So if you want a two month filter, this is for you

Hot tub addition
I installed this in my Saluspa hot tub. I was experiencing some hazy water and had to drain / fill the hot tub a couple times. I bought this unit and set int he hot tub. The water has remained clear since installing. The total dissolved solids has increased, yet the clarity has remained clear. Very satisfied with the product.
