I bought Alpecin Gray Attack with high expectations, but honestly, it was a complete disappointment. Don’t waste your time or your money on this product. I followed the instructions exactly, using it consistently without missing a single day, and went through two full bottles… the result? Absolutely nothing. It didn’t cover even a single gray hair. I expected at least some slight change after using it so consistently, but there was zero effect. It’s frustrating to invest both time and money into something that simply doesn’t deliver on its promises. Based on my experience, I do not recommend it at all. There are definitely better options out there.

This product is excellent!

Tried to shampoo with this for several weeks, my grey has very little improvement. My hair is black, the shampoo can only become light brown, so I need to use some other hair color. Not good.

I've been using it every day for about 50 days now. My hair is light brown with quite a bit of gray, mainly on the sides. Didn't notice a color change until more than 30 days in. Seems like it is darkening my normal hair more so than the gray, but it is de-emphasizing the gray nonetheless. I'm going to continue using it to see where it this goes and maybe update this review after 6 months or so. Tips: *Be patient and don't expect quick results. *Don't be frugal. Use it generously every day. *Leave it in your hair at least 3-4 minutes, longer if you can.

it is not as effective as they estate, in my opinion"white' sides is no working, even since I applied almost every day during there months using it.

recently tried Alpecin Gray Hair Attack Shampoo with high hopes of seeing a noticeable reduction in my gray hair. I used two full bottles consistently, following the instructions carefully and giving the product enough time to work. Unfortunately, I did not see any significant change in my gray hair during this period. I truly wanted this product to work because I’ve read positive feedback from other users. While it may work differently for others, my experience did not meet my expectations. That said, I would be open to giving it another try, as I understand that results can vary depending on individual hair type and usage consistency. If possible, I would appreciate the opportunity to receive a complimentary bottle to test again and see if extended use may produce better results. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Ich wasche meine grauen Haare jeden Tag mit diesem Schampoo. Dadurch ist der Farbton von Hellgrau zu Mittel- bis Dunkelgrau gegangen, schaut aber natürlich aus. Passt für mich wirklich gut. Bleibe dabei. Wer aber eine Vollfärbung sucht, muss auch ein Färbemittel wählen und anwenden.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much considering the negative reviews, but after 2-3 weeks of daily use my hair has certainly darkened and some of my greys have been tinted a light brown colour. You can still see grey hairs but that's perfectly fine for me. For context, my hair was still more dark than grey but it was becoming very noticeable near the temple area and I just didn't like it. Alpecin Tuning, which is more of a temporary stain, was no longer effective as too many greys were coming though so I thought I'd give this a try. My technique is to apply it at the sink to towel dry hair so I can properly see what I'm doing and so I'm not diluting it with too much water. You can even apply it to stubborn areas when your hair is completely dry and apply water after about 5 mins to lather up the rest of your hair. So if you're in a similar position to me I think you will see results as long as you stick with it every day and use the right technique. But if your hair is mostly grey then I'd use a stronger shampoo or dye. And be mindful of skin reaction spots if you leave the product to sit for too long and it's gotten on your ear or the back of your neck. Good luck!
