Excellent Video Doorbell – Reliable, Easy to Install, and Great Value for money! I have been extremely impressed with this Tapo video doorbell. The installation was straightforward, and the setup process through the Tapo app was quick and user-friendly and multiple options are there The video quality is excellent, with clear images with wide angle ( as appears in comparison between my old door bell camera) plus reliable motion detection. Notifications arrive promptly on my phone, allowing me to see and speak to visitors wherever I am. The two-way audio is clear, and the doorbell has been very reliable with no connectivity issues. Two features I particularly appreciate is the local storage option, which avoids mandatory subscription fees while still providing access to recorded footage and the ringing on the Tapo hub so, no need for battery change every month for the bell inside the house!. Overall, this is a well-designed, dependable, and feature-rich doorbell camera that offers outstanding value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable smart doorbell system.

Battery stay for only 1 week , you need to recharge it 4 times per month

Dopo pochi mesi di prova ho constatato che non è adatto per un segnale wifi esterno. Già dopo pochi metri dal repeater perde la connessione e spesso tarda a riprendere il segnale. Il firmware ha avuto un aggiornamento nel 2025 che però ha peggiorato la stabilità. Probabilmente rende meglio con connessione lan.
