Amazing Time Saving Tool
This is the most incredible machine. Our lawn always looks amazing. It creates a beautiful pattern, makes almost no noise, and keeps the lawn always at a standard level. It saves us several hours of mowing each week. I strongly recommend this product.

Kept this one after returning my last mower
I don’t normally replace big yard equipment often, so buying a robot mower was already a big decision. The first one I purchased — a mid-range model from another brand — was such a disappointment that I ended up returning it. It got stuck constantly, struggled on my slopes, and lost signal in the same spots every week. After that experience, I honestly didn’t want to go through another setup. But the X7 has been a completely different story. What convinced me to keep it is simply that it works where the previous mower failed. My yard has two sloped sections and a few tight passages, and the X7 climbs them without hesitation. I watched it handle an off-angle slope that my last mower wouldn’t even attempt without slipping. Its ability to recover from tricky spots is also much better — no more daily rescue walks for me. The satellite navigation has been surprisingly stable too. I expected the same GPS dropouts I dealt with before, but the X7 stays locked in and maintains a consistent mowing pattern. Considering robot mowers aren’t something you buy often, I’m relieved this one actually lives up to what it promises. For the first time, I feel like I can just let it run and not think about it.

Terrible software
I cannot express how terrible the software for this is. Despite following all of the directions to a tee, it will always find some way to fail. Here is an incomplete list of problems: - The satellite will regularly fail to calibrate - The Robot will regularly go completely out of bounds - The robot will decide that it's rainy when it's not and the grass is perfectly dry - The robot will lock itself for no reason and not run until you check on it. I now have to check on it every day. - Hazard zones I deleted will re-appear - I get error and update messages in Chinese - Pathing will fail when there are no obstructions or anything in its way - The robot will say its stuck even when you can take remote control of the robot and drive it out of it's stuck spot without a problem. This is to say nothing of the fact that you have to suspend a cord through the middle of your lawn because if you lay the cord on the ground the mower will just cut it in half. The instructions advertise mounting hardware for the satellite, but the company doesn't even sell the hardware. Honestly, terrible purchase and I spend more time fiddling the the robot than just mowing the lawn myself.

Great time saver with minimal effort
Love the convenience, works perfectly for my 1/3 acre of relatively flat yard Would be five stars if the app was better and I didn't still have to edge mow/string trim on occasion. Additionally, sometimes it takes a little effort to get the robot working if it was stopped/stuck or when I moved the charging station but minor inconveniences for the hours of time saved mowing!

Works great so far
I've had this X7 robot lawn mower running for about a few weeks. My yard isn't huge. It just quietly does its job. I've watched it a few times, just wanting to see what it would do. it consistently works its way out of trouble on its own. The signal has been steady. Even near the back fence where GPS reception usually drops for other devices, this robot mower stays locked in and follows its route accurately. The app ahs also been smooth, quick to response, easy to tweak settings, and no random disconnections. Overall, the yard stays trimmed, and I'm not running outside every other day to fix something. That alone makes it worth it.

I Wanted To Like This So Much
I live in an area of Texas where we currently have a high temp of 105-110 and yes, the grass still needs mowing, even in this heat. My yard is challenging and requires a riding mower, push mower, and weedeater to maintain. I have a steep incline for which I have to use the push mower and another for which I can only use a weedeater. My yard is not squared. I live on a curve and have features in the yard that can be a challenge to use the riding mower around. Because of all that, I really, really, REALLY wanted to like this. The PROS: It's quiet. You could use it at 3:00a and nobody would even know. It cuts great. I have a native lawn with various grasses and ground cover. It cut it all without struggling and it cut it evenly. It was able to navigate like a boss, all of the slopes, obstacles, and uneven terrain that is my yard. It's light. I can pick it up and carry it around easily. It cleans easily. The CON: Unfortunately it would not keep connection. This caused it to not be able to return to the charging station, meaning I had to go find it and carry it back every single time. I also had to remap a lot because of this and the app is so painful to use, that I just don't have the patience or time (30 day refund period) to keep trying. The satellite was mounted so that it had a clear view of the sky and the whole yard, which is only around .36 acres but it would not keep a connection. I sadly decided to send this back and maybe will try again when the product and app have improved.

unable to navigate my yard
unable to navigate my grass. It gets stuck in the deep grass and reports a navigation failure. Unable to complete any mowing job in my yard. 0 degree elevation change. This is simply a grass is too deep for the machine to handle. It triggers the front bumper as an "obstacle" that it then needs to try and navigate around and the robot just wanders for an hour before it gives up completely and I need to pick it up and take it to the base station. I cut the grass extra low to over come this limitation and the robot still can not handle 2 days growth without erroring. For a $2500 investment, this is disappointing.

Clean Edges, No Stress
I’ve been using the Sunseeker X3 Plus for about a week now, and what surprised me the most is how clean the edges look. My yard is around 0.2 acre—not huge, but with several corners and walkways—and the X3 Plus gets impressively close to the borders. I still do a quick touch-up here and there, but far less than with my old mower. Navigation has been steady so far. Even under trees and near the fence line, it stays on track without random wandering. The app seems much smoother than some older reviews suggested—setup was simple, and when I didn’t understand a setting, customer support actually responded quickly and walked me through it. Overall, it keeps the lawn looking neat with minimal effort from me. For anyone wanting tidy edges and a mower that mostly takes care of itself, this one’s been a pleasant surprise.
