Works good! Great price!
Works as it should! I ordered this to go with my zoom b-6 since it was half the price than the actual zoom pedal and I don’t have any complaints with it.

Good stuff here!
I play electric guitar and I'm using an amp that has an input for an expression pedal. I was kinda skeptical because of the low price but overall it turned out just what I needed, a way to use it as a wah pedal or a volume pedal or to any other parameter I choose. In fact I think I'm going to order another one. Good stuff all around.

A serviceable, good value expression pedal
Let me begin by saying that I am happy with this product. It does what I expected at a decent price. My use case it as a general purpose expression pedal to use alongside my Novation midi controller for various soft instruments (organ, synth and others). Physically the device seems robust enough, though looking more closely there is a plastic coupling, which I assume physically translates the rocker action to a linear potentiometer. The little plastic pin through a plastic loop doesn't inspire me with confidence but for now it's working fine (and probably subject to less shock than a sustain pedal). The action is well damped and it has a polarity switch as well as a trim for the pot. In use it does what I'd expect. It gave the full range of midi values over its range of motion and held any position I set it to when I removed my foot. Expression is quite a broadly supported midi dimension so it tends to work as a volume adjustment in most soft instruments without configuration. As one might expect it can also be mapped in much the same was the modulation wheel. I was interested in trying it out in a different mode of operation, that's to say arrange that it returned to one end of its motion range as I released it. I did this by wrapping an elastic band around the end of the pedal nearest the cable. In this setup I placed my toe on the open end of the pedal (like a piano damper) rather than placing my foot on the pedal and it worked nicely. I found that having resistance to work against allowed for more deliberate and smooth control of the expression. Overall, assuming this lasts, it's probably the best pedal you can get for the money. If it were a little more robustly constructed (with some carefully employed metal parts) it would have been five stars.

Worked perfectly with Line6 Helix Rack / Control
Was instantly recognized, but polarity (as noted in many other places) was inverted (toe = 0, heel = 100%). Setting switch on bottom of pedal to "Other" and in Global Settings on the Helix setting "Polarity" for this Exp Pedal to "Inverted" and it works absolutely perfectly. Stays put when set, good range of motion. Will likely buy a 3rd (if I find something to control with it - using 2 now for Vol and Wah-or-Delay Fbk). Took longer to update my presets to use this rather than an external mapped MIDI pedal than to set the pedals up. Allowed me to remove a big external controller (Behringer FCB1010 - which I loved for a long time, but it's too big for my current space) from my rig. Overall great and 1/3 the price (or even less) than other options with 100% of the functionality.

M-Audio EX-P | Universal Expression Pedal
I took a chance with this because of the price. I got it to use with several Electro-Harmonix pedals that provide additional functions with an expression. This one has two settings - one for M-Audio pedals and another for all other. The M-Audio setting works great with the EHX pedals. As for sturdiness, well...it's plastic but doesn't seem to be easily breakable and I doubt most people are going to be stomping away hard enough on an expression pedal to break it. IMO it can also be used on stage because it's not flimsy despite being a bit light, which isn't a bad thing, especially if you intend to use it on a pedal board. If that's the case, you're already likely to add velcro for the board. Bottom Line: Works fine; decent price. I don't really see how a more expensive expression pedal would do a noticably better job.

doesn't work with a Yamaha EW 320
It doesn't work with a Yamaha EW 320 don't bother. Otherwise looks like it works fine for expression based uses. Basically you can get the sustain but the foot pedal doesn't control it, it's the dial on the side that determines if sustain is on or not. I think it's more of a EW 320 issue then the pedal.

M-AUDIO EX-P Expression Pedal - Great Value
Works great with a Fractal AM4. Practically plug n play too. I’d expect it will work with Quad Cortex and other pedal modelers. M-Audio EX-P gets a thumbs up!
