Express Water Whole House Water Filter System, Iron & Manganese, 3-Stage

We have an Express Water System at a home in Michigan because we have a scale build up issue. When we purchased a home in Georgia, we weren't sure what to expect. Well, it turns out the water is ORANGE and smells awful. The home had an existing filter system, but we couldn't find replacement filters, so we went ahead and ordered the Iron and Manganese system from Express Water. We ended up finding replacement filters left behind by the prior owner, so we went ahead and replaced the filters without replacing the water system. No change. Toilets, dishes, clothing.. all coated in an orange tint :( I've been cleaning toilets daily and the build-up just comes right back! We installed the new system not expecting any change because we read online that filters do not filter out Ferrous Iron (dissolved iron) and that we would need an expensive home treatment system. Wellllll, I'm happy to report that the water is clear and no longer staining our toilets and the smell is gone. It felt great finally being able to shower in clear water. I was amazed that it worked after having read that it would not. Our sediment filter is already brown after 2 or 3 days of use, so I've ordered a few extra. I imagine it will be efficient for a lot longer but I'm glad those deposits are being collected by the filter and no longer landing in our appliances. It was easy to install. Heavy enough that it felt like quality equipment but not so heavy and bulky that it was hard to install. Our other system has been in for 3-4 months and seems to be working great. I'm VERY happy with this system and will report back in a few months! Buy it!

We live in an area where the iron level is very very high. When we filled our hot tub the water looks like a river. This was our first time dealing with water like this, as we used to live in the city and had city water. We purchased this one because it specially stated "iron" and we liked the bracket. Installation for us was easy, however if you do not have some plumbing knowledge I would brush up on your skills. If you are handy I think you can figure it out. Our house is ran with PEX A and a manifold system. So adding this in when we didn't know we needed this was easy. The product came with a faulty gauge, I emailed the company directly and they promptly sent me another one, which was also incorrect but when I emailed them again they overnighted the correct one. I would say the customer service was top notch. Now, the big question did this product take the iron 100% out of our water, the long short answer is no. But, the water is 1000 times better and only has a slight tint to it. We have a few other things we are trying but from where we were when we started to now I would say the product works exactly as designed.

Very affordable choice for a whole house filter treatment. Mine came with a broken guage, company was very quick to replace. The filter on the left was snow white 2 months ago, proof it is working and this is on municipal water.

It took longer to replace filters to another brand then setting this whole unit up. It went smooth and love the clear filter view and gauges. One complaint that I will own, I didn't open the box for months waiting to swap out the old and they didn't send the right set. I ordered the iron manganese set and ended up with the original that was less expensive. So check your box ASAP to be sure it's correct.

The plumber installing did a great job and the system is very well made.. it’s heavy enough you don’t have to attach to a wall… I have stone… so it really worked out… the little filter sitting to the right is the BEFORE… water quality is A+

Not impressed! Yellow stains on everything. Looking into different filtration.

This has been a game changer for our well water. Well packaged! Well made! Love the pressure gauges. Easy to install. Customer service was great when I had a question. Overall great product and highly recommend!
