Does the wheeled duffel have a retractable pull handle? One review said no. How does one use the wheels with no handle?

It does not. It has wheels and a fabric handle on the side which can be used to pull it.

All pieces come nestled inside each other with the largest being an upright that is 25"High x 16.5"Wide x 8"Deep. Other pieces include a boarding bag that is 10"High x 15"Wide x 6.5"Deep; a wheeled duffel that is 11.5"High x 23"Wide x 12"Deep; and a second upright that is 21"High x 14"Wide x 7"Deep.
