Provides the perfect amount of light when going up or down the stairs. My guest love them. Easy to install per my electrician. They are discrete and looks great. These are hardwired and the function does just what they need to do.

The Cloudy Bay step lights work and look great, excellent value, and are easy to install into a standard 2x4 electrical box. There are 5 Kelvin settings to choose from on some models and they can be dimmed.

I waited a few months to leave a review so I could say how pleased we are with the quality of the lighting and how easy they were to install! Will definitely buy again in the future

Easy to install, looks great and dimmable

Tried to save some money on the deck I just finished. Trex and other similar low voltage lighting systems are expensive and can be a little quirky (I've read many reviews that the transformers wont last very long). I decided to take a risk with this product and so far I am really happy I did (1 month of use). They are quite bright. The first 2 pictures are basically in full sun, and the last picture is bordering on dusk. The only thing I'm not crazy about is because the built in transformer and light itself are recessed into the box, it doesn't leave a lot of room to bring in 2 sets of 14g wire since these are all wired in daisy chain. you really need a deep box and even still, sometimes the pressure of the wires on the back of the housing could cause the face plate to pop off. The face plate is designed to just connect with clips that apply outward pressure around the edge, and they kind of snap into place. It looks nice to not have any visible screws on the face plate, but i found myself having to pry the clips out a little more on each one so they could grab strong enough. Would be nice if cloudy bay made a dedicated deep box that was waterproof and better designed to accept these clips and could be sold alongside these lights. Anyway, you can get it to work, and it will look nice when its done.. just have to take your time when installing.

These are awesome, they're designed to be installed in steps for step lighting, but I mounted a pair in the wall on either side of a door leading to a deck. They provide a nice down-lighting effect on the deck - and since they are 3000K they blend in with all of the other warm house lighting. The fixture itself is really interesting as well, you wire to the frame of the fixture and then just snap the fixture into place - it makes contact with the frame for electrical current.

A great product. Just got hooked up in the last week. Bought the package with three step lights. One of them died within a few hours of turning them on. I emailed the customer service people on the "After-Sale Service" card and within a day or two had a response. They asked for the Amazon Order # and that was about it. I gave them the invoice as well. They shipped a new one within about two days. I'm waiting for it to arrive. Don't have to send the failed one back. Really nice. That's great customer service!

I've had these installed on the exterior of our house siding, facing the north side. While these do look fabulous with their warm lighting and they do put out enough light to see your way. I'm disappointed in the finish and the longevity. We have had these installed for almost 7 years and out of the nine we have installed, 2 of them have burned out and needed replacing. Also, the finish on these (oil rubbed bronze) has faded significantly. Since these are on the north side of our house, they don't get any UV light and hardly any moisture gets on them. So, for them to show their wear is concerning. I don't believe they are necessarily cheaply made, but I will consider finding a more robust brand, if and when another burns out.

Easy to Install. Looks great

In two weeks one out of four stopped working. Hopefully just a fluke. But the look is amazing, safely allow parents and grandparents to see coming in and out at night. These are all cement stairs so initial installation or rough in was difficult but well worth it.

After 3 months the LED’s are fading . I emailed the company still no reply. The profit is nice but I would like a replacement on the faded one. Package says last 27 yrs for the LED’s. I didn't expect last only 3 months. With a no reply!

A bit on the expensive side I would say but they are very nice on the landing of our staircase.

After two months one of the 3 lights stopped working.
