A solid reliable thermometer and hygrometer
I’ve purchased a few of these over the past 2-3 years, and they’ve worked flawlessly—no hassle, no fuss. They seem accurate as well; the last two units displayed almost identical readings for temperature and humidity when placed side by side. If you’re looking for a simple and relatively inexpensive device to monitor temperature and humidity levels, this is a great choice. They also display the time, though the time display isn’t a standout feature since the numbers are a bit small to read from a distance. Overall, a solid and dependable product.

Good enough
This is a very simple and practical, alarm clock, and temperature and humidity measuring device. While it is very easy to use, every few weeks/months I have to adjust the clock forwards by a few minutes as it is not the most accurate over time.

Accurate and great value
I've had this thermometer since July 2019. The battery has only been changed twice, the second time only this week, 3 Sept 2023 . I have a room stat on my central heating and the room temperature also shows on my smart meter device in the kitchen. This little thermometer always tallies exactly with both so I'd say it's very accurate. The beauty of this is I can easily see at a glance what the room temperature is and it also gives the humidity level so I know if I need to get the dehumidifier out. I honestly can't fault this and for the price it's remarkable. I looked for it in my Amazon orders to recommend to a friend and thought it's time I put a review for others, so here it is.

Indoor Digital Thermometer
I’ve been using the Lanhiem indoor digital thermometer and hygrometer for a while now. It’s simple, lightweight (about 100g) and easy to mount on the wall or just place on a desk. The LCD display is clear and shows temperature and humidity at a glance, plus it keeps max and min records which is quite handy. It also has a basic alarm clock function, though I mainly use it for room conditions. Accuracy seems good enough for home use in my office. At £8.99 it feels fairly decent value, especially with Amazon Prime free delivery and returns if needed.

Cheap and easy to use but inaccurate and therefore a bit useless
Bought this to replace a previous version. The clocks is easy to read and adjust but mine constantly runs slow and i am always having to re-adjust the time to make sure it matches the actual time. A bit pointless when that's supposed to be one of the primary functions yet it can't even hold the time correctly. Personally wouldn't buy again based on that, which is a shame really because otherwise it's great

£6 THERMOMETERS COMPARED
Indoor thermometers are helpful for old folks like me; if you're feeling cold, you need to know why - is it because the room isn't warm enough, maybe a thermostat needing turning up or a radiater needing air-bleeding; or simply because it's time to make the switch to winter clothing; or because of some unrealised health problem like a dicky thyroid or type 2 diabetes, both common amongst the elderly ? So I have them all over the place, and have just bought an extra pair - this one and the "Best Kingdom". However, if it's truly accurate temperature measurement you want (rather than comparative), don't expect it to be provided by cheap items like these. The photo, taken in my kitchen on a cold morning, indicates why (and yes, I know my windows need cleaning). A claim to be accurate within +/- 1c means that, even if not exaggerated, it allows at least a 2c disparity between two supposedly identical instruments. Such inaccuracy is not to say that these thermometers are useless; far from it. For the kind of domestic use outlined in the first paragraph, you simply have to be aware of your "temperature comfort zone". I have known for years, for example, that if my lounge thermometer of the past ten years shows less than 22c, I shall start to feel cold; and if shows more than 24c I shall be a bit too warm. So a glance towards it in either case is sufficient to indicate whether the heating needs attention or whether I do. Whether these are the actual temperatures, who is to say; but it doesn't matter once you've established the norm. If you are really keen for guaranteed, accurate temperature measurement, you will have to pay for it, by purchasing an instrument from one of the thermometer specialists who offer a calibration service for some of their instruments. You only need one such instrument, since any others you have can be calibrated against it. Otherwise, one simply has to make a guess as to which of a range of different readings like those in the photo is likely to be the most accurate, and use a marker to label the others with their differential from this assumed norm. Aside from the buttons, there's nothing to choose between these two instruments; They both bear the model label HTC-1, and they differ in price by a few pennies, but in fact they are identical instruments - and I've since counted at least 21 other offers on Amazon of this identical thermometer under various names from £2.99 upwards, all bearing the label HTC-1. There are occasional cosmetic differences, for example, the Lanhiem comes with almost invisibly etched (white on white) button labels, the other one with clear, black-printed labels, as evident from the photo. Both were ordered on the same day and both arrived together promptly. Both also came with batteries included, despite a statement to the contrary on the other seller's page. The latter came in a shop display pack, the Lanheim in an envelope in bubble-wrap, with my ideal type of instructions - a foolscap-sized sheet in VERY large, clear type, more easily understandable, with less Chinglish than its competitor; and for that reason gets my "like" vote in competition between these two; and its the cheapest. BUT since these purchases, I've found out that this identical thermometer is on offer elsewhere on Amazon for less than £3 post free... You know what to do.
