Seems to be a solid switch with a metal case. Setup was easy - I was literally up and running in 2 minutes. 2.5GB ports took slightly longer to negotiate than 1GB ports but all ports negotiated to the correct speed/duplex within a few seconds. I do not have any 10GB devices to test the SFP+ ports. Traffic seems to be flowing properly with no errors detected. Being significantly less expensive than competing products, I'll have to wait and see how it withstands the test of time but my initial experience and impressions have been excellent.

Good cheap switch. Doesn’t have stp protection so loops can form and clog the switch. I used this as a 2.5g media converter for my incoming fiber internet connection. The included 12v power supply is ok. I used a usb c trigger to power it with no problems. Also runs 10g base t spf with no issues just gets hot as its fan less

My current router has 8 ports. I purchased to expand the number of ports from my new WiFi 7 Router (1-10Gb, 1 2.5Gb and 3 1 Gb ports). This product is built with excellent quality. I like the feature that this switch has two 10Gb ports. The switch is back compatible to my 1 Gb network. Later this year I will have the availability of having fiber optic cable to my home. This switch will allow the network to be able to handle the new internet hrgbspeeds.

Works fine. iperf3 says speed is close enough to 2.5Gbps. The only issue is that SFP+ ports are quite picky. I tried 3 different SFP+ to RJ-45 modules and only one of them (10Gtek 10GBase-T) worked with this switch.

I was excited to try this switch out, for the specs listed the number of ports this was a great buy as I expand my home network and my 10Gb devices. This switch worked with a 10Gb Lincplus N2 NAS device, but did not work with my HL15 2.0 storage server- and by not work the switch refused to connect at 10Gb, only 1Gb speeds. Tried different cables using Cat 6 cables that I know work with other 10Gb hardware, different software settings on my server hardware. Sadly swapping ports and cables never worked I've returned the switch. Unsure why it wouldn't negotiate 10Gb speeds.

Stellar price to performance. I bought this to expand my home's 10G backbone and add a set of 2.5G ports for a test bench area where I set up and configure hardware. So far this thing has been a champ. It runs cool, I've even connected an RJ45 transceiver to it for uplink to my 10G LAN and while the transceiver is hot, the rest of the switch isn't. I'm not really pushing tons of packets through it or stressing it in any way otherwise, but speed tests (locally and to the Internet) show no difference when a machine is connected to this vs upstream somewhere. For the price, you can't really beat it.

It just works. It’s an unmanaged switch. It’s supposed to be plug-in go and it is.

Ho preso questo switch per ampliare le capacità di rete avendo una rete di casa tutta cablata, dubbioso per la brand, ma viste altre recensioni positive mi sono convinto, confermo che è un ottimo apparecchio, fa egregiamente il suo lavoro, di ottima fattura solida. Ho fatto dei test con tool iperf con ottimi risultati, tra due pc, entrambi, con scheda di rete 2.5 dedicata su tratta di circa 20 mt con risultati costanti sui 2.33 Gb\s (cavi Cat 7). Consigliato rispetta le promesse.

Bell Aliant Users - Finally a Device that Syncs at the 2.5G your GPRON requires. It was either this Device or a Ubiquiti Switch for $700 - With Amazon's amazing return program, I decided to give it a shot. Received it in two days, Plugged the SFP into the SFP Port, and the Cat6 into the RJ45 jacks from my UDM SE to this Device, told the UDM to VLAN tag 35 on the 2.5G WAN port and It Immediately connected, and started Syncing at 2.5 GB - Amazing! - I Spent years looking for a Device that could do this for under $500, and I Finally found it. No more 800 Mbps speed tests, now im getting 1.2GB From my UDM SE on Download, and 940 Mbps on Upload. Additionally, this Device does not get Hot unlike some of the other Media Converters on the Market. After a Solid Week of Internet Traffic, with no downtime - It's still cool to the Touch! - Now let's hope this Switch lasts for years to come! Very Satisfied, and you will be too! - I will be Recommending this device to all my networking friends/people who want to free themself from the HH3000 with Bell

Dont know whats going on, just plugged this in and am getting a flashing power light. No cables connecting to ports who any lights, cant get a connection from any devices. Is this blown, a dud?
