Still Hitting The Back Of The Net
I buy EA FC/Fifa every year and despite a lot negativity about this year's latest release, I personally just don't see it. Maybe it's because this is my first experience of playing/having this on the PS5. I have noticed nice pre and post match build up for matches, which I feel suck you into the matchday fan experience. Gameplay and graphics are good and no doubt the next instalments will be getting purchased from me in years to come.

The Career Mode has seen some excellent updates, providing deeper management options and a more immersive narrative that keeps you engaged season after season. One of the standout features for me has been the Ultimate Team mode. The revamped chemistry system adds a fresh layer of strategy, and the sheer variety of players available allows for endless team-building possibilities. The daily and weekly challenges keep things fresh and rewarding. However, it's not without its flaws. There are occasional glitches, and the online matchmaking can sometimes feel unbalanced. Additionally, while the commentary is generally top-notch, it can get repetitive after extended play sessions. Overall, EA SPORTS FC 25 Standard Edition for PS5 is a fantastic addition to any football fan’s gaming library. It captures the essence of the sport beautifully and offers enough new content and improvements to keep both new players and veterans entertained. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive and immersive football gaming experience.
