Really works on cold sores, especially if caught early. Even if not caught early, this is very soothing on sores and helps to stop them from spreading.

Brilliant product. Always my ‘go to’ when I can feel a cold sore coming on. Can often stop the cold sore from progressing but if too late, the cold sore is minuscule.

I never write reviews but this product 100% needed one. I have been getting cold sores on my top lip for 15 years now and they are awful; big, painful, unsightly, swollen, crusted cold sores. I have tried everything; cream, prescribed pills, gel, home remedies. If a cold sore gets past the tingling phase I will be dealing with it for 10 to 14 days and nothing but time makes a difference. Well now that's all changed..... I ordered this on a whim and based off previous reviews but I have to say I was sceptical. On Christmas day I woke up with a formed cold sore I was devastated, such bas timing with all the social events. I thought I'd give the bio-propolis a go. My god, it's unbelievable. Today is now 29th and it has almost totally gone. It swelled a little and did blister a little but it wasn't hardly painful at all with the gel on it and it defo reduced the swelling. I am left with a small slightly pinky patch but nothing like what I would normally get. The best thing is the sore doesn't get chances to split and crack which causes the scarring and long healing time. I wish I'd known about this 15 years ago. I've ordered 2 more to ensure I have one handy at all times.

Its very effective but very small amount for the price. Not cost effective. Far too expensive.

Being a long time sufferer of cold sores, I've tried every cream, supplement, light device, patch and home remedy that exists. Bio Propolis is the only product I've tried that makes a real difference. It really stops the cold sore from becoming that horrible swollen, really visible ugly blister. Used regularly, it cuts down the healing time by a good few days. It's soothing and invisible (it's practically clear so just looks like you've put on lip gloss). I won't be without it now, I have a tube in every bag. I recommend to everyone who suffers with cold sores.

This is a miracle product! I wish I'd found it sooner and not suffered so long. It is far better than any other coldsore cream on the market and cannot give this product more praise. Once I put it on I forget I even have a coldsore. It doesn't dry the lips out and leave you with cracked lips at the end of it. It treats and heals the sore so efficiently from whatever stage you started treating it that your lips never swell, get enormous painful blisters or scab. It feels and looks like applying vaseline or a lip balm so you can wear it anywhere at any time and is very subtle. This is the only treatment that actually works and I'm shocked that the main product on the market still exists and isn't this one!

The other reviews pretty much sum it up. But I just wanted to write one because I love finding something that actually is such a good product and always buy based on reviews. This ointment is soothing, and calms down most if not all symptoms of my cold sores. The minute I feel a tingle or an itch, I apply it, and the first thing you notice and appreciate is the reduction in pain. I personally love the fact it’s not a bright white cream and a clearer colluded ointment. Throughout the next couple of days my cold sore is drying out, and does not look yellow crusted and infected like they do when I use zovirax or aciclovir treatment. If you suffer from cold sores, please give this a try, it really is a fantastic product 👍🏾

my go to for cold sores

Propolis is a known anti-viral, so I found this product extremely helpful to help prevent coldsores from coming up or worsening before the skin was broken. This is the only ointment I have personally found useful, which is saying a lot since I'm immune compromised.... (Abbreva does not work for me). It comes in a very tiny tube, which is okay because a little seems to go a long way to keeping "the tingle" from becoming a sore. (If you already have a huge open coldsore, patting goldenseal power on it to further dry out the sore is good).

it keep cold sore moist but I did not see any quickness in healing

This isn't available in the states and hard to find online so when I find it I get about 4 tubes and it lasts us about 2 years. Shipping takes a little longer and costs more, but it's worth every penny. Shipping this time was super fast. If you get cold sores or fever blisters this is the best stuff.
