Teyujosem Women's Pirate Jacket Steampunk Gothic Coat Victorian Tailcoat

This is a very well-crafted jacket! The fabric is of great quality, a medium-heavy weight polyester (perfect for keeping warm during the winter or by the ocean), that is embossed with a beautiful pattern. The seams are top quality, surged with 1-3 strait stitches just above for a more secure hold - this is not a hastily sewn-together piece. It would be very difficult for the seams to come apart, but please note that with even great stitching, much like a person, when you treat a garment roughly, don't be surprised when it comes apart. Treat the garment with respect and it will last. The lapels have interfacing so they will keep their shape, as do the cuffs. The insertion of the lace is nicely done and is even throughout the piece (a very difficult task due to the lace wanting to wonder as you sew it) I can see that it was done correctly the first time due to there not being any secondary stitching which usually shows after having to rip the seam and re-attempt sewing the lace. Button attachment is very well done on both the ornamental silver buttons and the everyday-use buttons. The corners on the cuffs and collar are nice and sharp and where the lace-up portion on the back is also well-constructed. Instead of grommets, there are fabric loops that are polyester. They're very securely attached and thus far I haven't had an issue adjusting the fit of the jacket - no tearing or seam ripping. I sincerely give this jacket a 5/5 star rating. A lot of hard work went into this piece and it's honestly worth the price they're asking for it. As I said earlier, treat the jacket with dignity and it will last. I will be purchasing more from this shop.

Actually crazy high quality thick material. I like the feel of it. Looks really good, sizing is accurate. The cinching ties in the back are super cute. Used it for a white rabbit cosplay from Alice in Wonderland and it was fabulous.

I just received this jacket yesterday. There is a review on here by someone about the quality of this jacket, who I know has to be a seamstress. I purchased this because her review was so detailed. I have been a seamstress for over fifty years. The quality of this jacket is superb. I understood immediately why the other reviewer was so excited. The attention to the details was exceptional and the jacket is really beautifully made. BRAVO!!! The one thing I noticed was that the cuffs can be pressed down to add length to the sleeves if your arms happen to be somewhat longer. I am 5'7" 140 lbs, 36C bust and the medium size is perfect. The material is similar to a fabric that is used to make drapes, but not too heavy. The seams line up perfectly and are surged for added strength. I love this jacket!

It’s the perfect deep rich emerald green color. The fabric is the perfect weight. The arm length is made so you can make shorter or longer about 4” each way, the back has a corset so it fits perfectly around your rib /waist area. Very well made. Jacket looks more expensive than what you pay. Runs true to the measurements

I found this jacket to be extremely well made and the fit was excellent! Just had to give it a light steaming to remove a few wrinkles from the packaging. I received many compliments on it. It wasn't too heavy and was comfortable to wear all day!

amazing jacket its so very warm and cozy, i didnt realize it was corseted when i bought it but that adds to the charm. most of the buttons are fake(all the silver ones) but its fine. i feel very cozy and bonita in it especially with a jabot. jabot sadly not included but would recommend this jacket if you plan to wear it with one.

I couldn’t believe my eyes! I bought this for a costume, and I did not expect the quality to be that great. The fabric alone is so detailed and stunning, the craftsmanship of this jacket is outstanding. It’s heavy, true to size and absolutely beautiful.
