I have an old wood backyard gate and almost all of the screws were loose and barely held the door in place. I had to manually lift the door to open and close it. I was hoping to avoid having to replace it and ran across these type of products. The Gulfmew set was very inexpensive so I figured it was worth a try. The ten anchors arrive in a small ziplock bag which is inside of a generic white box. I think these are made of plastic, but they actually have a little metallic feel to them. I took out all of the screws on the wood door and moved the hinge out of the way. It was easy to push the anchors into the screw holes, and the top snaps off easily. I put the hinge back over the screw holes and put the old screws back into the newly anchored holes. It definitely takes a little muscle, but wow it is now rock solid. The door swings great and the latch even catches on its own which it hasn't in years. These worked great for me and are definitely a cheap solution to try before having to do a more costly replacement.

These wood anchors were exactly what I needed at a low price point to fix a loose door hinge. They are very easy to use and provided a much more secure hold than the old "toothpick and glue" method. I’m giving them 4 stars because while they are more than adequate for most household repairs, the plastic is slightly softer than expected—but for the price and the convenience of the 15-piece kit, it's a solid value!

Worked perfectly well to fill the stripped holes for my doors top hinge. Just needed a little hammering to get it in deeper, and once I broke it off, hammer it again to flush. Amazing.

These are useless! I should’ve known better but I wanted an easy fix! No such a thing! I only tried one so I felt bad returning! It’s also expensive for what it is! It’s a pretty much a plastic thing that’s probably 3D printed, the screw went in, it broke off and was spinning and not catching

I didn't know these existed. I stumbled on them after I used a plastic anchor that they sell for hollow walls. The anchor expands. I am not sure these do that. They are tricky to put on specially because you have to break off the part you will use. It worked for me but it is tricky.

I have a bed post that has been loose for years. This wood anchor worked perfectly! It took 5 minutes to do, too. I'm so glad I found this kit.
