Good and compact plans. Best pair with APSC sensor camera.

Light when needed
Love that these are solar chargeable. Just put in the window and they’re ready when the power goes out. Well made, seem like a great buy.

Great upgrade lens
This lens definitely took my photography to the next leave from the stock lens. It’s great quality for your money. The images are clear, sharp, creamy, all the things you want to adjust it to, it does. Love it! Light weight so it doesn’t add too much weight to your camera.

Better than Canon but there are some drawbacks
I bought this lens for my Canon R7. It fits perfectly and connects with a reassuring click. Although it is a third party lens, all of the Canon features and functions work with it. The image is bright, sharp, and clear and having f/2.8 throughout the range is a big advantage over the available Canon lenses. The extra bokeh helps to separate the subject from the background. Also, it can shoot macro to about 1:2. However, I find 50mm a little limited and I would prefer a longer maximum focal length. Also, there is no stabilization, so the lens does not work in low light as well as the Canon lenses. Finally, the auto focus is not as reliable as with Canon lenses. I find that I am missing more shots with this lens so I have to check my focus after every shot.

Fantastic Choice for kit lens upgrade
Perfect lens for what i use it for. Photos are crisp and clear. For the price, it is absolutely worth it. Have it paired with the R10 and its magical. Highly recommend.

Sharp, Lightweight, and the Perfect Everyday Zoom
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens has quickly become one of my favorite lenses to use. It strikes an ideal balance between performance, size, and price, making it a perfect everyday zoom for a wide range of shooting situations. I used it on my Canon R50 APS-C. Image quality is excellent. Photos come out sharp across the frame, with great contrast and color. The constant f/2.8 aperture is a huge advantage, especially for subject separation and shooting in lower light compared to kit lenses. It gives you a lot more creative flexibility without needing to switch lenses. One of the standout features is how compact and lightweight it is. It’s incredibly easy to carry around all day, which makes it perfect for travel, street photography, or just casual shooting. It pairs really well with smaller mirrorless bodies and doesn’t feel front-heavy. Autofocus is fast, quiet, and reliable. It locks on quickly and performs well for both photos and video, making it a versatile option if you do a bit of everything. Overall, this lens delivers premium performance in a small package. If you’re looking for a high-quality standard zoom with a fast aperture that won’t weigh you down, this is an easy choice.

Do it
Investing in this lens is absolutely worth every penny! I learned the hard way by initially opting for lower quality lenses, but trust me, the difference in performance is night and day. I’m thrilled I decided to save up and make this purchase. The 18-50mm zoom range is ideal for capturing spontaneous moments, eliminating the hassle of constantly swapping between separate 18mm and 50mm prime lenses. If you’re serious about photography and want convenience without sacrificing quality, this lens is a game changer!

Compact, Sharp, and Perfect for Video Work
I use this lens mainly for videography on a tripod or gimbal, so the lack of image stabilization doesn’t bother me at all—especially since I usually turn IBIS off in those setups. It’s compact, lightweight, and delivers sharp results with beautiful depth thanks to the constant f/2.8 aperture. Autofocus is fast and quiet, making it a solid choice for both video and photo work. Great value for the quality!

Ottimo obiettivo in tutto

A great lens for APSC canon cameras
I’m genuinely impressed by the Sigma 18–50mm f/2.8. It’s incredibly sharp, lightweight, and bright thanks to its constant f/2.8 aperture. The build quality feels solid, giving it a nice balance between portability and performance. During my use, there were a few instances where autofocus hesitated, but I’d chalk that up more to user error than the lens itself. My only real wish — built-in image stabilization. That would make this lens close to perfect. Verdict: A compact, bright, and reliable everyday zoom lens that punches well above its weight. Perfect for hybrid shooters who value both image quality and convenience.

Super petit objectif
