Made from good quality plastic. I'm not one to use salt but this has been a bad winter. It has many different settings. I love the scoop and gloves. They are great quality and make it a value for your money. I always test it over a bucket to make the lid is on secure. So far no problems.

This is a really excellent spreader. Very strong and robust. The handle and body are all one molded piece, unlike many other spreaders that have the handle attached to the lid, which is much more fragile. The lid on this fits snugly and turns to lock into place. Easy to fill and use, and the smaller holes worked well to spread granular pre-emergent. I spread a 20lb bag of pre-emergent this morning, and it was fast. I could spread side to side, as well as in a line forward, to work along tight spaces. I really recommend.

Storage capacity: This holds enough seed to over seed my yard 4x. It's amazing. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This was the only one that came with heavy duty gloves and a shovel. Glad I went this direction! Ease of use: So easy. Add the stuff to spread, pick your shake amount and go! Ease of installation: Zero installation required. 1/2 twist lid to pull out gloves and scoop. Fill and twist to tighten. Shake out contents in desired area. Speed: Works just like others I have used. Material quality: Seems very sturdy. Handle is not flimsy at all even when full. Filled it all the way up with the fertilizer and seed. It worked beautifully!

The spreader itself works really well and spreads seed evenly. My only complaint is that I have a hard time getting the lid on properly. Once it’s on, the product works great, but the lid design could be easier to use.

I’m so glad I came across this spreader. We use it for snow salt and a I brought it just in time. Although we generally don’t get much snow, we did this winter. It holds a lot of salt, easy to fill, comes with a scooper, spread salt evenly and comes with gloves too. Made of good quality and is durable. Easy to wipe off and priced just right.

Used the fertilizer spreader. Was easy to fill and use. Great durability and functionality. Great value for the money. My yard is small. Was done in less that 30 minutes.

Gets the job done, just wish it held a little bit more. Handle is also too wide, so your hand gets tired trying to keep your grip while spreading.
