Very Cool Effect!
These floating candles look very cool once hung up! They all seem to work well and the flickering light makes these look like real candles. I ordered the ones with the remote wand which I highly recommend. Because you can turn them off and on with just one touch of a button. The ones without the remote will have to be manually turned off one by one, which can be quite a pain since you hang them from the ceiling. So definitely pay the few extra bucks for the ones with the remote. It’s definitely worth it. I do however have two downsides to these candles. 1. They use A TON of batteries! Each candle requires 2 AA batteries each and the remote wand requires 1 AA battery. So you will need to have 25 batteries which are not included. 2. The string that they give you to hang these is super thin and it is very difficult to tie these up because it is so thin that it is very hard to work with. However it does appear to be quite strong which is a good thing. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it took me a good hour just to get them all tied up. Overall the downsides do not outweigh the positives because these really add a very cool floating candle effect which will be perfect for my upcoming Halloween party. I definitely recommend these floating candles if you want to add a really cool effect to your Halloween or Harry Potter display! Just remember to purchase plenty of batteries and be prepared to take some time to tie them up as this part can be quite tedious especially because the string is so thin you can barely see it.

Yer a wizard now!
These were a lot to hang, and you need 24 or 26 AA batteries to go with this, just an FYI. I will say, once all of that is complete, I absolutely love them. They are on my front porch. I keep them on all the time (even when we were in negative Fahrenheit temperatures. They still work. I've had them up since the end of October and they are still going strong. Very durable, even with windy temps (I live very near to the Detroit river separating Michigan from Canada, so winds can be quite high. I love the flickering effect the candles have. It seems like they are truly floating candles. The wand works well, unless you have something solid blocking the path from wand to candle, so no spells through walls, but it does work through windows. I am well versed on the Lumos and Nox spells now.

Great until it rips paint off your ceiling
These are awesome until you have to remove them from your ceiling. They’re very heavy once you add the 2 aa batteries and so the manufacturer makes the adhesive on the hooks strong. Which is great so they don’t fall down. But when you try to remove them, it’s takes a chunk of your ceiling paint and dry wall off with it. Now I have to have my ceiling spackled and repainted. That’s a lot of work for a birthday party decoration

Asthetic
These require batteries in each one. The string is very difficult to see making the process of tying them up difficult. Be careful. They come with super sticky adhesive dots, so sticky it took the paint off my ceiling. They are pretty cool once they get assembled and strung up. Plan ahead for assembly and stringing up, it takes some time.

2 Died but love them
Honestly these are really cool. I use them in standard candlesticks and love lighting my house in the middle of the night. I did have that didn't work outta the box. Would still buy again.

Useless
Completely useless if you buy more than one set. I bought two sets for the same display, and the remote system is an absolute disaster. The two wand remotes do not control their respective candles reliably. Some candles respond to one wand, some to the other, some to both, and trying to turn one group on can randomly turn candles from the other group back off. There is no obvious way to pair, reset, or assign the candles to a specific remote, so once you have multiple sets, you’re basically stuck waving two wands around hoping you eventually get all the candles on at the same time. It is ridiculously frustrating for a product whose entire gimmick is supposed to be convenient remote control. If you only need one set, maybe you’ll get lucky. If you need multiple sets for a larger room or party, I would absolutely not recommend these. The remote design makes them more trouble than they’re worth.
