FINALLY a cream that doesn't irritate my face. I have slightly dry and sensitive skin (very fair, English rose type, I'm 43) and the area around my eyes gets itchy & red, especially if my eyes water. In fact it became so itchy & irritating that I actually had to give up moisturising and I even stopped wearing makeup. Yes I know, I hear you - moisturising your face is kinda important, plus I looked pretty with makeup, and I couldn't wear anything especially around my eyes, not even mascara! I don't wear loads, but wearing nothing at all honestly made me feel a little sad, I liked looking pretty. For years I've tried every single "sensitive" / "hypoallergenic blah, blah, blah" face moisturing product available at Boots. I spent a small fortune (arggh). Then I read these reviews and tried this (the CREAM in a tub, NOT the pump-dispensed Lotion) and... it hasn't irritated me! Omg, the joy of moisturising, and then a few days later, even better.. I applied Foundation & Mascara on top and my skin was still okay. This is cream, it's fairly thick, you don't need too much, or the excess will sit on your skin, it absorbs well, is non-greasy, unperfumed and leaves my skin feeling very soft & supple, plus it's not stupidly expensive. Maybe all this might all sound trivial to you, and yes it is just a "1st world" problem. But I also went through chemo and I lost all my hair too (amongst other things.. I was pregnant & engaged - yep, real heartbreaking time). Anyway, tonight I'm in Portugal for a week with my man, I applied this cream, followed by my makeup, and styled my curly hair... It's been a long while since my skin felt comfortable, and I saw myself looking pretty. Looking back at myself in the mirror I saw someone that I haven't seen for far too long.. and she was smiling back at me.

The texture is thick but not greasy, and it spreads easily without leaving a sticky residue. I use it on both my face and body and it works well for both, including on very dry areas. My skin feels calmer and less tight since using it regularly. It’s also gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation, which is a big plus. A little goes a long way, so the tub lasts ages. Simple, effective, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

CeraVe - or as the French might say, c’est la vie. And what a moisturised life it is. The pot is enormous. Heroically large. You open it expecting a modest supply and instead receive what feels like a lifetime allocation of hydration. I may never need to buy another one. This isn’t skincare...it’s generational wealth in cream form. Application is where it becomes art. It glides across the skin with the smooth, controlled inevitability of Jorrit Bergsma carving across Olympic ice. There’s the same quiet confidence, the same frictionless momentum, the same sense that nothing is being rushed and yet everything is happening exactly as it should. Cream and skater share a philosophy: steady pace, flawless surface contact, zero drag. If Jorrit were French, it would tie this all together beautifully. But even without that, the glide alone earns gold.

I really wanted to love this for my face, but personally I find it way too thick and heavy for daily facial use. (But would be great for someone with dry skin, which who this is aimed for). That said, it’s fantastic as a body cream, especially on dry hands and elbows. I live in a hard water area and my hands often feel dry and tight after washing. I’ve been using this for just a few days and already notice a real difference, skin feels softer and more hydrated without that greasy residue some thick creams leave behind. If you’re looking for a rich, effective hand or body cream, this works beautifully. Just not the best match for oily or combo facial skin in my experience.

Amazing product. I have had dry skin on both sides of my nose for months. Tried every moisturiser under the sun to no avail. Bought this without much hope but after one use my skin was instantly better. I use it twice a day on my face, neck and upper chest as I have major surgery scars and it relieves the tightness and pain of those. I use it every 2 days on my body and have had equally great results. It has no stickiness, absorbs quickly and causes no irritation even in sensitive areas. Also nice is doesn’t have any urea (pee) in it like most heavy duty creams, and the biggest ingredient is water, which my peri menopausal skin needs more than ever! The size of the pot for the money is exceptional and it’s hands down the best product of this type I have ever bought.

Great product. Absorbs quickly and it is very effective at doing what it should, moisturising your skin. Big tub so it should last quite a long time.

5 months post partum and I am shedding like a bloody lizard! Awake at night scratching at my legs till they bleed and my face looks like I'm going through a chemical peel! Thank goodness for CeraVe!! Instant relief, thoroughly moisturising and soothing. Can't recommend enough. Tried a few different things but thos has been the first thing to work and I will be sticking with it 👍

I don’t usually write reviews but I think this stuff definitely needed one. I had an allergic reaction on my face recently after using a different brand of wipes when removing my make up and once the redness and swelling had gone, I was left with tight sore cracked skin all over my face and neck. I read the reviews on this cream and gave it a try and I was not disappointed! My skin felt instantly better, more hydrated and the tightness didn’t feel half as bad. It absorbed quickly into the skin but I didn’t apply a lot at first in case it was heavy but it’s not. It appears thick when applying but is very lightweight on the skin once absorbed. Definitely would recommend if you’re struggling with dry skin. Makes a change to use a product that actually does what it says on the tin.

Excelente crema hidratante, especialmente para piel seca o muy seca. Desde los primeros usos se nota la piel mucho más suave, hidratada y con mejor apariencia. Tiene una textura espesa pero se absorbe bien sin dejar sensación grasosa. Además, hidrata por varias horas y ayuda a restaurar la barrera de la piel gracias a sus ceramidas y ácido hialurónico

Questa crema è davvero buona e per me è importante che sia completamente senza profumo. All’inizio mi è sembrata molto grassa e pensavo che non fosse adatta perché di solito non amo questa consistenza. In realtà è solo una sensazione iniziale. Si assorbe abbastanza velocemente e lascia la pelle morbida idratata e senza effetto unto o appiccicoso. Una cosa che mi ha colpito positivamente è che non causa irritazioni. Ho la pelle sensibile soprattutto dopo la rasatura e non ho avuto nessun fastidio o reazione negativa. Questo è sicuramente un grande vantaggio. Il formato è grande e il barattolo è comodo e ben chiuso. Però bisogna sapere che rispetto ad altre creme ne serve una quantità maggiore. Sul viso uso circa il doppio rispetto ad altri prodotti quindi il consumo è un po’ più alto di quanto immaginassi anche se comunque dura parecchio. L’ho usata anche come crema notte nei periodi in cui la pelle è più secca o screpolata e devo dire che funziona molto bene. Dopo un paio di applicazioni si vede già il miglioramento. In conclusione è una crema ottima per pelli secche e sensibili senza profumo senza ingredienti inutili e con un buon effetto idratante. Ideale per un uso quotidiano e nei momenti in cui la pelle ha bisogno di cure in più.

All good. Price is also very reasonable. Came on time and did not have to wait for long delivery duration. Product came well too, no dmg. When using the product, it was very good on my skin. Works well as moisturizer.

La crema hidratante de CeraVe se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas. La uso tanto en la cara como en el cuerpo y me encanta la sensación que deja en la piel: suave, nutrida y sin ese acabado pesado que dejan otras cremas. Su textura es cremosa pero ligera, se absorbe rápido y mantiene la piel hidratada durante todo el día. Desde que la uso, mi piel se siente mucho más equilibrada, especialmente en las zonas más secas. Lo mejor es que contiene ceramidas y ácido hialurónico, que realmente ayudan a restaurar la barrera natural de la piel. Además, no tiene fragancia, lo cual es ideal si tienes la piel sensible. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Una crema excelente, cumple todo lo que promete y deja la piel con una sensación increíble.
