This is a pretty good camera. Very slim, nice build and featherweight. The audio is good and the picture is very good and clear. I wish it had a portrait orientation, but it does what I needed to do and that's look out for me while I deliver packages. I could prefer a longer lasting battery, but the specs on this says that it lasts exactly as long as I need it to last, which tells me it may not last quite that long. I don't really care too much for the flip of the lens because I won't use that as much. I appreciate the 1/4 thread hole so I can actually use it as a body cam. I was going to send it back because I found one with a very big button on the front of it. But I just can't force myself to send it back. It will not be my primary camera but I know it will be a very dependable backup camera. It'll probably do better for mounting on my bike for bike rides than as my primary body cam. This cam will be used. It came with a bunch of very useful accessories and all of this was at a very good price. It hooks up to my tablet or phone for viewing or transferring very easily. I don't think I'll ever need to take the card out, but I do appreciate the adapters. I should also add that the seller is a very good communicator.

I’ve been very happy with this body camera overall. The video quality is good, it’s easy to use, and it’s been reliable for my job. My biggest complaint is the mounting clip. Mine broke, and I can’t find a replacement clip anywhere. Without it, the camera is difficult to wear properly, which makes it unusable for probably 60% of my work. It’s really frustrating because the camera itself still works perfectly. If the manufacturer made replacement clips available, this would easily be a 5-star product. Great camera—just poor long-term support for a part that’s likely to wear out. Lasted 9 months.

UPDATE: Do not use a 512 GB card. It was fine for a while, but issues ensued. The camera is again in working order now that I've gone back to the 128 GB card it came with. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Initially, I bought one to provide evidence for deliveries, but before it arrived, I was rear-ended and my car was totaled. Luckily, the jogger was not hurt, as he was coming from the other side of the road, but my car did slide right into the crosswalk. So when this body cam was delivered, I started using it as a dash cam. It's got good clarity, even at night, and it's simple to use. When it's connected to a USB cord, it automatically starts recording when I turn my car on and powers down when I turn my car off, which works really well for regular driving. When I'm on a route, I want it to record me leaving my car with the package and coming back empty-handed, so I unplug the camera so it records my whole shift, whether the car is running or not. After my accident, I looked into dash cams, but...wifi connections, cloud storage, and wire hiding are things I don't want to deal with. With this body cam, I can use a 512 GB micro SD card with more than enough room for a full week's worth of driving. It's very easy to transfer the files to my external hard drive once a week-ish. So I use the original purchase as a dash cam and bought a second one to use as a body cam for delivery evidence. Details like street signs and house numbers are crisp and clear. And now if someone claims I didn't deliver their prescription or package, well, I've got proof that I did. Pros: ~Sound pick-up is impressive. ~Excellent clarity on my laptop. ~When hooked up to a power source, it records and stops automatically (hands-free). ~Can use a 512 GB micro SD card. ~Very customizable (continuous recording in 5-, 10-, 15-, or 20-minute increments; pictures sized 8-48MP; record with/without sound; etc., etc.). ~Easy to take pics while recording. Cons: None that I've found so far. Things to note: ~Using a 512 GB card causes a brief (~3s) delay in initial recording (so it misses my seatbelt click if I forget to wait). With the provided 128 GB card, recording begins almost instantaneously. ~I haven't tried the IR yet because as a dash cam, it works well with headlights, and as a body cam, I'm usually wearing a headlamp for night deliveries. Therefore, I cannot comment on the IR feature.

I needed a body camera to document harassment from a neighbor. At first, this camera seemed adequate, if bare-bones. The instructions were terrible, but it was simple enough to figure out how to turn it on and record. I was disappointed to discover that it only records for a maximum of 15 minutes, and it does not stay powered on long enough to get through a 25-30 minute walk with my dog, which means that I needed to fiddle with the tiny and poorly marked buttons to get it up and running again. I never was able to get the neck lanyard cord to thread through the tiny and curved holes in the camera body, despite trying to push/pull the cord through with a variety of implements. That left me having to use the belt clip (which doesn't work with all my clothing). That's when the design flaw other reviews mentioned immediately became apparent. If you install it so the clip is on the back of the camera body, then the person you're recording can see the screen and see that you're recording them, which could escalate an already tense situation. If you turn it around the other way to make recording more subtle, then the belt holder completely blocks the screen and prevents you from accessing menu settings or seeing how the shot is framed. More irritatingly, the belt clip was extremely difficult to remove, requiring needle nose pliers. I finally gave up and ordered a better camera after the battery stopped holding a charge for more than ~10-15 minutes after owning it for only a week. Overall, I bought this for a sense of security, and it ended up taking my attention away from my surroundings to fuss with the camera, and then the battery died suddenly in a situation where I was relying on the camera for documentation.
