Use videos in reviews to install/ look it up on YouTube. You may have left over pieces
First week after install I was disappointed because the larger tube that goes in the large hardtop piece in between the freedom panels was keeping the panels raised and still letting water in but after a week of sun & heat it has settled all the seals and I had 0 leaks in car wash so I am 100% satisfied great product.

Great Item
Worked great on front panels. Stopped the wind noise and water coming in. There are no instructions provided. If you look at the pieces provided it is easy to figure out how to install. Great maintenance for Jeep Hardtop.

solved minor freedom top leaks
overal was a nice quality kit and everything installed easy. One big flaw is the lack of instructions. You have to research it and find videos other people made. A simple diagram with a numbered layout and numbered pieces would have saved me 2/3s the time.... 1- Use rubbing alcohol and a combination of your fingernail and a non marring plastic scraping tool to CAREFULLY remove the old pieces but use a layout to remember how/where they fit. 2- wipe down and let dry the locations of the old foam pieces and then attach and hold snugly with your hand for say 10-30 seconds. *try to do this when its warm but in a shaded area and it will make things easier. It did fix a leak but was tedious to google instructions and I still wasn't 100% on some pieces but it fit good enough and hasn't leaked.

Reduced wind noise significantly
This hands down was the cheapest and best money spent so far on my used JKU. I did not have any bad leaking issues however I had crazy wind noise at times and driving through storms was terrible. The noise in my jeep was reduced by 20 decibels when over the speed of 65 mph. Now I can cruise on the interstate on not go deaf. Itโs seriously night and day. Definitely would recommend and will buy another kit or two just to have on standby since I believe jeep owners should replace these seals every couple of years.

questionable quality/NEED INSTRUCTION DIAGRAM
There really is no reason to not include instructions or a link to a web site that gives at least a diagram of where and how to position these foam seals. Many may be able to look at what's existing, but that's not an absolute in every case. I searched all over the internet and even the manufacturer and no diagram. the videos on youtube were helpful to a certain extent, but my jeep isn't the same as the one in the video and the positions are not real clear. Oh, And why are there extra pieces? Lol. Where do the cylinder shaped ones go? My jeep manual doesn't help either. The foam itself was kinda soft and cheap looking and I wonder if it will retain it's shape long. I took a piece to my local auto parts store to try to get more of the same and they couldn't help me but did comment on how they didn't think the foam seals I had were very good. So, time will tell. Overall I have to say I'm skeptical but hopeful. 3/5 stars for now.

Worth it
Took 90% of the wind noise down. Well worth it. Iโm a real customer, installer, user of these foam pads

Foam pieces locations
The longer thick foam tube goes here! (See picture). Lift the seal on the back of the hardtop from the back and itโs right there. Sticks up a little bit after being installed properly but it will squish down during installation. Lots of installation instructions about the foam pieces but I couldnโt find this thing to save my life. I knew Omix wouldnโt waste the money including those pieces it if it wasnโt supposed to be installed. The smaller foam noodles go in the ends of the targa seal on the right freedom panel. Itโs the long seal between the two freedom panels. Itโs a D seal (might not look like the shape of a D anymore which causes the leak). This will help reinflate the ends of the seal.

Working great so far! My 2012 Jeep hard top started to leak water on both front doors on the arm rest area. I bought these, installed them, probably took an hour, and they seem to have fixed the leak I was visually seeing! Unfortunately I think water is still getting in somewhere else... This kit does not come with instructions but if you need help YouTube hardtop seal kit review & install.
