Surplus Raw VintageMen's Suit Jacket

Nothing wrong with the actual jacket, except the sizing is completely wrong. I ordered a 5XL which was stated to be 54-56 inch chest. When I took the jacket from the packaging I could see straight away it was going to be too small. I could just about get my shoulders into the jacket after taking out the inner lining. Just a few days before receiving this jacket I received a green camo m65 jacket from a different supplier and the same chest measurements came in a 4XL which is loose and comfortable on me which I have now. I like these jackets I have 5 and I have owned my oldest one for over 25 years. The jacket that did not fit, I would be surprised if it was over a 50 inch chest size max. I cannot fault the supplier who paid for the return posting and refunded me back promptly. Just the actual sizing was wrong.

Obviously made Asia somewhere? Far too small! .... if I run a company and have regular meetings of how we could cut down on costs make more profit!… Surely it would be on European size is compared to Asian sizes,…Returns must cost you a fortune!… I handed mine in to a charity shop! Bit disappointed and disgusted to be fair! .... However long have some of your companies been dealing with Asian companies? & still have these problems about sizes! Tony!

The m65 jacket is a great quality item of clothing, it looks good, feels good and is at a sensible price. They come with a nice warm winter liner that you can simply unbutton to remove, so this jacket is great for winter and summer. Take note of the seller's size tip as I have a 46 inch chest and the XL fitted like a glove, as they say go for one size smaller than the size guide states. The arms were a tad long but I just folded them back and the deed was done, looks great. The zip is a 3/4 length proper brass bad boy designed not to get in the way should you decide to sit down. There is a pull cord around the waste area that when tightened give you a little more shape. If you are looking for a nice military jacket that's comfortable to wear in the summer and winter then look no further. Very happy with not only the jacket but the quick delivery aswell.

I bought this just before that very cold winter hit. Good thing too, this jacket is lightweight but very warm too.I should have listened to other reviewers before I purchased it as the sizes are definitely on the large side, still that is handy enough at helping keep my hands warm so no complaints there. There were some loose threads on the jacket when I got it but a quick brush down sorted that out. The only reason that I have knocked a star off it is simply because there is no pockets on the inside, I was a little disappointed by this but it was no excuse to return it, instead I used the money that I would have spent on postage to get an inside pocket added by a local seamstress.To sum up, it's a fantastic jacket, it is warm and quite stylish, however the sizes are very large compared to what you may be used to. Definitely worth the money!

Well made and very warm with liner and a lot cooler with out. a good fit slightly larger than expected but thats better than too small.Mainly used for walking dog on rainy days.

Fits great. But do select a size smaller. Bit long in the sleeves... Had loads of compliments! Ordered yesterday and arrived in less than 24hrs..
