The NEEWER 35.4”/90cm Parabolic Softbox with Bowens Mount has been a great addition to my lighting setup. It does exactly what I expected — no surprises, just solid performance. The light it produces is soft, even, and really flattering on skin tones — perfect for both video and photo work. Setup was also straightforward thanks to the quick release mechanism, and the build quality feels sturdy enough for regular use. I use it with my CB60 and sometimes with a Godox light, and compatibility has been smooth. The included grid and diffusers give me flexibility depending on the look I’m going for, and the carry bag is a nice touch for travel or storage. Assembles quickly — none of those annoying, tough clips either. The Velcro is solid and runs all around the rim (not just a few tabs), and it comes with two layers of diffusion so you can tweak the softness to your liking. Lets the brightness shine through beautifully. Excellent value, especially from the Prime Day deals. Packs away neatly into the included bag — even with the diffusers still Velcroed on! Easy to carry and easy to use, and it feels way more solid than other cheaper ones I've tried.

i was honestly not expecting this to be as good as it is. the build quality feels proper solid, not flimsy or cheap like some of the ones around this price point. the rods go in tight and the whole thing feels stable once it's up the light quality is honestly what impressed me the most — super soft and diffused (i got a fs150b), no harsh shadows. makes a massive difference for talking head stuff or interviews, and even product shots look way cleaner now assembly was straightforward, took just a few mins to get it set up. it’s lightweight but doesn’t feel fragile, and overall the value for money is mad for what you’re getting here i’d defo recommend it if you’re building your first studio setup or just want something reliable that won’t cost a fortune

Well made, nice and compact and easy to install with Bowens mount. Have this as a soft box for a key light and works very well.

This is a huge softbox enabling your images to have softness and fantastic light . This is very easy to erect this can be done in seconds / minutes really happy with this product, it has inner and outer covers to reduce softness as well as a grid, not forgetting the well designed carrying case. I have purchased the 65cm which is just a good. The next purchase will be the 85cm which I think is the perfect size

Good product. Do you have another one that is also 120cm diameter but flatter than this? I would want the distance between the back {Where you attach the light) and the surface to be much shorter

Honestly a good value for money, although on a full charge you don’t tend to get much out of it if you just relying on the internal battery, best be prepared to either keep it plugged or get some batteries to keep it charged whilst in use. It’s Portable , bright, doesn’t take so much space, assembling it wasn’t difficult cause of how portable it is not to mention its functionality. Yes I recommend it 100%

This thing pops up and down really easy Lovely job good value for money, the quality is spot on like a high cost one, and gives out a great performance, and light weight. The folded size is small and it is easy to assemble.

As a professional food and product photographer, I was looking to add a midsized parabolic softbox to my artificial lighting kit. After researching and narrowing down on a few options, I zeroed in on Neewer’s latest generation 33-inch Parabolic Softbox. I’ve been using Neewer products for years now and I’ve grown to like their quality, ease of use as well as affordability. I will be honest that this product is not cheap and priced competitively with other softboxes out there. But like they say you get what you pay for and it holds true for this softbox. After using the product for a bunch of shoots here are three takeaways. Quick setup and folding mechanism: I am a food photographer and conduct the majority of my photoshoots on location. Lugging around heavy equipment is the bane of every photographer’s existence. The quick set-up and folding features are a blessing saving you a ton of time and energy. Soft and directional light: This new generation light diffuser is deep, yet wide with a silver diffusion coating. It offers two layers of diffusion material and a honeycomb grid for further shaping and directing the light as needed. The softbox produces a great colour rendering index maintaining the true colours that my clients prefer. High quality but lightweight: I must admit that this softbox is huge at 33 inches yet compact enough to sit in the backseat of my Small-SUV. I love how lightweight is so it doesn’t weigh down my expensive strobe light or add pressure to my light stands. Although the ribs are not made of metal these seem quite solid and flexible too. If you’re looking to invest in a great parabolic softbox that produces beautiful artificial light that almost seems natural, this might be the product you’re looking for. It is practical, lightweight, sturdy and super easy to set up. It is a tad pricy but a bang for the dollar.
