I’m genuinely impressed with the Hiseeu Solar Camera. From the moment I set it up, it was clear this system was designed with real user convenience in mind. The 100% wireless, solar‑powered design means no messy cables and no worrying about power outages. Once installed, the cameras just work —quietly, reliably, and efficiently. The 4MP resolution delivers crisp, clear video both day and night. The color night vision is especially impressive; it captures details I never expected to see after dark. The PTZ 360° view is another standout feature—being able to pan, tilt, and zoom gives me full coverage of my property without blind spots. The humanoid detection is surprisingly accurate. It filters out unnecessary alerts from animals or moving branches and notifies me only when it truly matters. The 2-way audio is clear and responsive, making it easy to communicate with visitors or deter unwanted activity. I also appreciate the **IP66 waterproof rating**, which gives me confidence that these cameras can handle rain, dust, and unpredictable weather conditions. The fact that the camera is compatible with NVR systems is a huge bonus—great value without hidden costs. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality, and user-friendly security solution. If you’re looking for a smart, solar-powered outdoor camera setup, the Hiseeu system is absolutely worth it.

The cameras are great, and installation was user-friendly. The Eseecloud application is intuitive; however, it does have a lot of automation/graphics pushing their cloud service, which can be minimally intrusive. I ended up purchasing five cameras (in total); however, I did so incrementally. Specifically, I purchased a 2-camera set initially and added a single camera. Once installed, I liked how intuitive the setup was and determined I had two additional areas of the property that I would like to watch. Additionally, I didn’t like the idea of utilizing SD cards for each camera’s backup, nor did I want to pay $50 PER CAMERA for the cloud-based backup through the Eseecloud application. Although their cloud app offers a variety of utility for identifying and classifying events, and utilization of AI functions to process information, I found the price point to be a little steep, especially compared to other providers/vendors. All that to say, I purchased their Hiseeu 10CH Wireless Mini White Network Video Recorder (NVR), Compatible with 2.5Inch Internal Hard Drive (Add on Hiseeu 3MP/5MP Wireless Camera, Plug-in 12V2A Output Power Adapter). I installed one of my old solid state drives (I think it was a 250GB). The Frankenstein-style security system works marvelously. CAUTIONARY NOTE: Don’t be a knucklehead like me and piece mill a system together, just purchase an ENTIRE Hiseeu Security System. In retrospect, I should have purchased a single kit/set; it would have saved me time and money. Now onto the critical feedback- The zoom quality is “mid” at best (i.e., quickly becomes pixelated) and could use an upgrade; however, I understand that improving lens quality might take the camera out of this great price point. Afterall, I’m not trying to provide security for a secretive military base. The second issue is the Eseecloud, cloud service sounds wonderful and extremely intuitive; however, the price point ($50 PER CAMERA!!!) is a counterintuitive investment to the mid-quality of these cameras. Moreover, if I did need to access and utilize video data to investigate an issue, the quality of the video feed would not be sufficient enough to warrant the exorbitant price for the cloud service and technology. Who, in their right mind, would spend $250 per month (my five cameras) for a cloud service; that doesn't make sense. Overall, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND the cameras to others, but would advise them of the high price for cloud support, and that they might want to utilize the base station (with SSD) for their back-up/logging. The battery and WiFi range are great. I have one camera placed approximately 60-feet from my home (on a large oak tree) and the signal is solid. Kind regards, Don

Very easy to install and set up! Good picture quality for the price that I paid. I love the night vision feature as well as the light setting controlled in the app.

Good quality cameras and base station. I love that the cameras are solar powered. The solar panel is plenty large enough to keep the camera's charged. The only thing I found annoying was that the camera's do not have optical zoom. They use a single focal point prime lens. This is not a problem unless you have a particular area of your home where you want a close up view from the camera. The only way to get that close-up view is to physically move the camera closer to the area being monitored. In my case, this meant sinking a pole into the ground and mounting the camera to the pole, since mounting the camera to my house didn't provide the detail I needed. The monitoring software is constantly telling me that I should buy a cloud subscription for storing the video files. I don't want another subscription and wish there was a global software setting allowing me to turn off the cloud prompts and the features that only work with the Cloud subscription.

I got the this camera because someone keeps throwing trash at my house and making a mess, and I’m tired of having to clean it up. After using this camera, I’m really happy with how it’s working out. Everything came neatly packed, and setting it up was super easy. I had the camera and solar panel installed in less than 30 minutes. The instructions were clear, and all the tools I needed were in the box. No need to mess around with wires either, thanks to the solar panel. The camera itself works really well. The 355-degree rotation and 90-degree tilt give me awesome coverage for keeping an eye on my property, and the picture quality is sharp, even at night. The color night vision is a big plus too, it’s clear and detailed, so I’m not just relying on grainy black-and-white footage. Motion detection is super responsive, and I get alerts right away. One of my favorite things is that it works just fine without WiFi. Even if there’s a connection issue or you’re in a remote spot, it’ll still record and keep things. Another big win is that it saves everything to an SD card, so I don’t have to pay for cloud storage. It records 24/7, I can check back on footage whenever I need to. Overall, I’m happy with this camera. If you’re dealing with any security issues or just want to monitor your property, I’d definitely recommend it!

This camera does not work with Hiseeu's NVR. I don't recall seeing that information on their description when I purchased it. I have a 16 channel Hiseeu NVR and needed a solar camera for an area where I have no power. After setting it up and unable to add it to the NVR I called tech support. They told me solar cameras can not be added to their systems. I returned it.

I have tried 8 cams, 4 different brands, to set up security cam at our HOA's gate. No signal there. NONE of the many cams I tried would record, with any reliability, off line. Nor allows data retrieval, via the temp hotspot I use to set up the cams. This cam does it all (also the wired cam, same brand, same app for use (EseeCloud), Decent video (HD) and very organized "playback", that you can switch to the SD card, which has rollover. I am not using the cloud ,since we do not have any permanent wifi at the gate. Finally, now i am working on the "camo", with these fake vines. Weeeeeeee

I bought 8 cameras from Hiseeu. I’ve had these running about six months and they’re definitely not good quality. Each camera behaves differently no matter how you configure them. They may record and they may not record. You can walk right in front of the camera, and it might pick up movement or may not. I’ve tried every adjustment, setting and installation option. All cameras will randomly stop recording in the middle of motion in front of the camera!! There is nothing like reviewing a video of someone approaching your house and the camera suddenly stops recording!! I’ve updated when and rebooted them all dozens of times. I’ve also reinstalled them at multiple heights, which has had no effect. Last month one of the cameras stopped recording with its solar panel and I have to remove it and recharge it on power cord every 4 days. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because you can manually record each using your phone but you have to be watching them to catch movement. I would never refer or classify these as security cameras.
