Very happy with this Dash cam, nice clean streamlined design so not too bulky. Easy to install and setup the guide is very simple to follow. Great App on the phone that connects to the Dash Cam over its own WiFi network so can review and save clips to your phone without needing to take out SD Cards and connect to a laptop or computer so that's very handy. You can turn the Speed timestamp on the Video on or Off in the settings if you're heavy footed and don't want the clips to show the speed you were doing for some reason...Time, Date and GPS location and map plotting is really good to have. Front and rear Cameras both recording and quality is excellent with a really good view angle. I got an additional cable so I can have the camera powered when the ignition is off so its always recording and will auto lock the video if someone smacks the car while you are parked up so that is worth doing in my opinion. Overall I think it was great value for money and becoming a must have in this day and age to help protect yourself and your car!

Very good, very reliable. Easy to set up and retrieve footage. Works from a very simple phone app. Good wide-angle view, front and rear. Easy also to hard-wire if preferred. Hard-wire kits are a separate purchase but easy to do.

The GKU D600PRO is impressive - and easy to set up, link to, and control with the free GKU Go phone app. The manual is remarkably good, and it should be followed closely during installation. Test the app and cameras before fitting in the car. The cigarette lighter socket in my car is inconveniently placed between the front seat backs above the handbrake, so I contacted customer services, and Ella was kind enough to send me the 3m USB C to C cable I needed. I didn't want the 24H parking coverage, as the car is used irregularly and I didn't want to risk a flat battery in the winter. It took me about 3 hours to fit the 2 cameras and cables, but I was taking my time as some trim panels covered airbags. My car also has a large sensor housing on the windscreen above the rear view mirror, so siting choices were limited. The D600 is small though, so I could hide it and the wires behind behind the rear view mirror, which also avoids any possible UK MOT problems (look it up!). The tiny screen on the back of the camera is only really good for checking the view on installation, so I have set it to time off after 10 seconds. I have set the front camera to 2.5k to save space on the supplied 64GB micro SD card. Video quality at this resolution looks excellent, and freeze-frames are very sharp, especially from the front camera. Using the app to download videos to my android phone is easy, and immediately after downloading, they get converted from the camera's native .ts files to .mp4s. Downloads to the phone kept the 2560 x 1540 resolution (I think one reviewer said videos downloaded over wifi were reduced to 1080p?). I also took a .ts file direct from the micro SD card and an .mp4 file downloaded via wifi, and compared them on my 24" PC screen, and the two videos appeared identical in sharpness and detail. So were 2.5k resolution stills taken from each video using VLC and opened in graphics software. I'm not posting videos or photos here because Amazon will reduce resolution of uploads. The videos are named with date and time of recording, plus f (front) or b (back), which makes finding files easy. Minor criticisms: the quality of the camera voice announcements - I think it says 'Start recording' and 'Stop recording', but they sound far too similar. Also, I have to disconnected the rear view camera to access the SD slot. I have not tested the picture quality after dark yet. I'm happy to recommend the GKU D600PRO front and rear dashcam.

Excellent front and rear dashcam! Can't believe the quality and video resolution this little thing outputs. For around $100 bucks you can't go wrong. It was easy to install (I used an OBD to USB plug n play adaptor with a USB C cable) so it's all neatly tucked in and no wires show and nothing plugged into to cig lighter. It has many options to configure. I'm recording 2.5k front and 1080pm rear. Creating 3 min files on the 64gb included card. It records internal audio as well, just enough and obviously what's on the road. It has sensor to lock a video of it detects sudden movement or accident. Interface is easy and really set and forget. I've attached pictures of the install and the front and rear camera file pics. It does get a little hot while in operation, but just be normal, hasn't malfunctioned. Also the wifi connects without the phone needing to be on airplane mode and the interface is fairly simple to download files. The 2k/4k files won't open on a phone but will open on a laptop. The rat cam files will open on phone though. I'll get another one for my other car.
