Great open source printer, good features and decent prints within hours of unboxing.
Summary: Worked out of the box and was printing decent quality items the same day. The software is standard Orca Slicer and tweaked Klipper, so the manufacturer can't lock main features behind a paywall. Runs on your network and is opensource, they even provide the 3d files of the printer so you can print replacement/modified parts if you want. Sovol was smart and enlisted a few good content creators to make how-to videos, including setup and upgrades. I only have 24 hours of total print time and will update the review later if needed. Background: I started on a borrowed Monoprice MP Mini and learned a lot, especially about build volume and bed slingers. The Mini had ok print quality on most things, was slower, needed a micro SD card to get files to it, and had no way to check on prints remotely (prints fail, it happens but without having it close by you just don’t know if everything is ok). I am an IT person by trade, so anything that connects to my home network get severely locked down. I also have had far to many devices that stop working because the manufacturer decided not to support the web portion it needed even though the device still works great. My requirements: Needed larger build volume: 350mm x 350mm x 345mm vs 120mm x 120mm x 120mm Needed LAN connection: RJ45 (ethernet) and Wifi No Planned obsolescence: Open Source and upgradable with no internet required to work. Works without constant fiddling: I can send to Orca Slicer from thingiverse on my desktop and just print. Need remote monitoring: Has a webcam and connection to Orca Slicer. Simply print and watch it work from your desktop. Need a removable plate: PEI plate included Need option to print fast: 700mm/sec vs 55mm/sec After diving down the rabbit hole, I wanted to build a Voron but currently do not have the time or printer with a big enough build volume to print the parts needed. I looked at the other name brand printers, but ruled out most. The Sovol is like a Voron, but mostly put together. It took me a few hours with help from small curious onlookers to get it out of the box, setup, and printing (even though I overly complicated the setup). The directions are good and there are a number of Sovol sponsored videos showing tips and tricks to do a full setup. Once it was assembled and levelled, I connected it to its own vLAN on my network which had no internet (one of my big requirements). Then I downloaded and installed the latest Orca Slicer LTS build (an older version was on the included USB stick), plugged in the IP address of the printer (after creating a firewall rule because of the vLAN) and there it was. I used the “Open in Orca Slicer” option in Thingiverse (Printables has a button for Orca Slicer too), then hit the print button in Orca Slicer to send it remotely to the printer so it started printing and watched the printer auto level and start printing on the included web cam from the comfort of my office chair. No more walking to the basement where the printer is only to have forgotten the SD card. No more making 5 trips to see if the print is doing ok, just going back to Orca Slicer. The print quality was much better than the Monoprice and I could batch print things that were too big to fit one of one the Mini. Because it is so much easier to print and the prints look better, I use the Sovol printer far more. Future tinkering: I plan to enclose the Sovol, but can do that later because of the open source nature of the printer (they sell one or I can design my own). I plan to add a Bondtech INDX when they are out to give me a tool changer with Multi-Material (Looks pretty straight forward on the Sovol compared to other name brand printers). I plan to add fume exhaust with the enclosure, but again can wait until later. I was going to upgrade a whole bunch of things like the bed and leveling sensor, but the Sovol works good enough that I don’t have a reason too yet. The biggest benefit to me is that I CAN if I want and someone already has a video on how to do it which was probably sponsored by SOVOL. They want it to be your printer, not theirs that they are leasing you through software. Competitors: Prusa (top contender) - I really wanted an XL with a tool changer, but my pocketbook just laughed. Even a Prusa Core One or MK4s was almost twice the price. They are really nice and you get more features, but tinkering seems more difficult. Putting something like Bontechs upcoming INDX on a Core One would be interesting, but it will be a lot easier on the Sovol. Adding an enclosure to the Sovol is pretty easy, but would take tinkering to make it as good as the Core One. Also, software and parts seem a little more closed off, but again I would own a Prusa if Sovol didn’t make the SV-08. Bambu - Needs internet to use some of the main features and Bambu has automatically rolled out changes that ruffled a lot of feathers in the community. The printers look nice and are a great price if you are ok with being locked into the Bambu Ecosphere. The H2D looks amazing, but if their software stops working for some reason, so does your printer. The Sovol can be put on main line Klipper and already works with main line Orca Slicer. Voron 2.4 Kit - I just don’t have the time or budget right now. Maybe in a few years, but honestly I think starting with the Sovol and upgrading it is a better idea for people who don’t want the printer to be the hobby. The software and hardware are as open as you want, since you select and load everything. Creality, Anycubix, etc. - These all seemed to have similar issues with software and upgradability as Bambu (though not to the same extent). There are a lot of nice options and features on these, but I want to decide when I stop using the machine and how to make it better. Creality was a close contender behind Prusa, but again the Sovol just made more sense.

What a great printer for a great price for its size!
Sovol SV08 Max In-Depth Review: The Loud Giant The Sovol SV08 Max addresses a major gap in the market: a massive, fast CoreXY machine based on the Voron architecture without requiring weeks of custom sourcing and building. Colossal Build Volume & Rigid Frame The primary selling point is the massive 500×500×500mm³ build space. Despite its size, the printer features a sturdy, rigid chassis—utilizing injection-molded structural elements and heavy-duty linear rails that handle high accelerations surprisingly well without introducing terrifying frame wobble. 2. Pure Open-Source Freedom If you own machines like the Flashforge Adventurer 5M (AD5X) or the Elegoo Centauri Carbon like I do, you know how incredibly frustrating it is to be chained to proprietary ecosystem forks of OrcaSlicer. The SV08 Max is fully open-source and runs vanilla Klipper right out of the box. There are no arbitrary software walls or proprietary jailbreaks needed; you plug it into your standard slicer and it just works. 3. Excellent App Integration Because the ecosystem isn't locked down, remote monitoring is seamless. Native support for Mobileraker (for quick mobile Klipper management) and Obico (for AI-powered failure detection and remote cloud monitoring via the built-in camera) makes managing multi-day, massive prints a genuinely nice, modern experience. 4. Surprisingly easy to have great print quality Even though it’s often considered a tinkerer's printer, after running just OrcaSlicer calibration, my prints look great. Benchies, fidget toys, dragons, Autodesk FDM print; all turned out great! What to Dislike 1. Loud as All Hell This machine is not meant for an office space or a bedroom; it has a personality you can hear across the house. Between the powerful auxiliary cooling fans required to cool filament across a massive bed and the large stepper motors driving the heavy CoreXY gantry, the noise levels are incredibly intense. 2. High Power Demands & Lack of Zoned Bed Heating The hotbed relies on a powerful 1300W heating element to warm up that massive slab of aluminum. Unfortunately, there is no zoned bed heating. If you want to print a tiny, single-inch bracket in the center of the plate, you are still forced to heat all 500×500mm of surface area.The Energy Consumption: It acts as a massive energy hog for daily, smaller prints. 3. The Initial Power Spike Flipping the switch to heat the bed pulls a massive electrical spike right at start-up. Depending on your home's wiring, a 1300W initial draw combined with the toolhead heater can easily cause lights to flicker or trip sensitive breakers on a shared circuit.Extruder System Reliability Concerns While the toolhead on this unit is performing perfectly fine for now, there are growing community reports of the external smart auxiliary feeder/extruder system failing or jamming over extended periods of time. It functions as a complex assembly with tangle and clog sensors, meaning there are simply more failure points to keep an eye on.The Unknowns 1. Long-Term Build Quality: While the mechanical layout is robust out of the box, large-format printers face immense physical stress over time due to inertial forces. How the belts, linear carriages, and structural fasteners hold up under months of heavy vibrations remains to be seen. 2. Component Longevity: Because Sovol uses proprietary variants for items like the ceramic heater core and the custom auxiliary feeder mechanics, the longevity of these components under continuous high-temperature cycles is still a question mark. CONCLUSION If you are sick of the closed-source ecosystem of the AD5X and Creality and Elegoo type printers, the Sovol SV08 Max feels like a breath of fresh air. It offers true open-source freedom, flawless app integration, and massive scale. However, you must be prepared for the reality of its footprint: it is loud, it draws serious power, and it will run up your electricity bill if you use it for small everyday objects. Although it's expensive, it's quite a reasonable price for a huge build volume.

Great quality and value
EDIT 2: I'm also impressed with the response from Sovol, both by their presence in the Facebook users group, and the fact that they responded to me, quickly, with recommendations on how to make the printer quieter. I can't quite give the printer 5 stars, but I wish I could give it 4.5. EDIT 1: added a star I've had this printer for a about a week now. I've printed quite a bit with it and I'm really enjoying it. It's still louder than I would expect, but I'm really impressed by the quality of prints I've been able to achieve by a printer at this price point. Most of what I've done is just fiddle with the slicer settings to find what works best with this printer. The only thing that I've done to the printer is use some hairspray on the bed just to help with adhesion. I experienced a few prints that peeled up at the corners (both PLA and TPU) which a small amount of hairspray solved. Orig: I just got mine yesterday. It was easy to set up and I was able to print really nice prints straight away with no adjustments. Obviously, the slicer settings had a lot to do with it, but I was really impressed. Too get it out of the box, I would recommend turning the box over and sliding it all out. The base and gantry are connected, so it would be hard to try to lift it all out. The instructions are pretty clear. There are a couple things that aren't obvious, but overall, they were good. Upgrading to Marlin 2.0.0 was easy, especially since they included the USB mini cable (not too many of those around anymore). The run out sensor is kind of worthless. It puts a significant amount of drag on the filament the higher and further off center the print is. I just disabled it in the Marlin 2.0 firmware. It's too bad, really. I've run out of filament a couple times and it would have been nice to be able to load more up and resume. TPU doesn't seem to stick to the bed particularly well, although running a higher bed temp than I usually use did help a bit. I used 60c, although I think I might try a little higher and see if that helps more. PLA sticks great and releases fairly easily. I used 55c. You have to be fairly careful where you put the clips that hold the glass down so they don't interfere with the hot end. The Z stop isn't particularly easy to adjust. When the screws are loosened enough for it to move, it's a bit floppy, so it's hard to be accurate. Not a huge issue, but they could have figured out a better way to do it. The only real complaint so far is how loud it is. It seems to be the fans. Part of the issue is there are very few vent holes in the box that houses the main board and the power supply. And, there are no holes where the power supply fan is. No idea what they were thinking when they did that. Luckily, I have my printer in my basement, so it doesn't really bother anyone, but again, it seems like it'd be pretty easy to have engineered this a bit better. Overall, I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

Not what I hoped for....
If Sovol SV01 did anything for me is to cure me out of a "direct drive" fever. My very first 3D printer was/is AnyCubic Mega S. I love everything about it: the ease of setup, the print quality, attention to the detail, you know little touches here and there which every consumer appreciates. However, I got a "direct drive" and bigger print volume fever and decided to give Sovol SV01 a try. Most of the reviews were very positive so why not? Oh boy, did I get a rude awaking about this piece of unusable machine! No amount of watch YouTube videos on the subject nor the very skimpy Sovol manual could solve the following for me: - "unlevelable" bed. Yes. The bed cannot be leveled no matter. The plate on which the glass rests seems to be warped so you fix 1 or 2 corners and find out that the outer two are out of wack. The X cross bar where extruder travels on was not horizontal out of the box. Again, watched the video, followed the instructions and the bar just does not want to stay horizontal. You know what that means, right? It's a sailor syndrome. The two prints I managed to make were simply horrible in comparison to my AnyCubic. They seemed lacking, hollow and not very sturdy at all. Sigh. I bought this printer so I could print, not tinker, not get satisfaction from "fixing" what is supposed to be working out of the box. My tinkering days are behind me and all I want is for the product to work as advertised. So, I will be returning it without any regrets. The only regret I will have will be that I fell for the hype of direct drive. So take this review for what it is and buy this printer at your own peril.

Received a lemon - Corrected issues, updated Review to five star
I suppose quality control issues are to be expected at this price point, but I was one of the unlucky ones that got a unit that had a couple of issues. The first problem was the X-gantry (the horizontal rail that moves up and down on the 2 vertical rails, and carries the print head side to side) being significantly tilted. You could even notice it by eye. The right side of the rail rode about 2-3 mm lower than the left. I even checked the level using a good bubble level, and while the table and bottom rails were all perfectly level, the X gantry was way off. This necessitated, when it came time to level the bed, that the bed leveling adjustment thumbwheels on the left side be almost to their extreme clockwise position, while the 2 on the right be at their near-extreme counterclockwise position. It also meant that the Z-limit switch be positioned in an exact spot that had to be arrived at with iterative adjustments of the thumbwheels and limit switch. I should note I also tried turning the Z motor/threaded rod coupler, but it would slip back to the non-level orientation. Not a good way to spend an afternoon. But I finally made it work. Then problem 2 (after spending so much time bed leveling): the SD card would not go into the reader slot. Turns out the tiny slot on the metal case was misaligned with the actual SD card socket, presumably soldered to the motherboard at an angle. The socket plastic actually cracked when I tried to pull the crooked SD card back out after managing to insert it, at the angle it demanded. So that's as far as I got, and set up a return to Amazon. I was also concerned that when I ordered the unit there were, and still are as of the date of this review, two listings on Amazon, both from the Sovol Store, for the SV01. This one, at $285 with a $25 coupon (so $260 net) with a bonus 5 extra nozzles. Then the main listing (it appears first when you search on Sovol SV01) for $305 with a $40 coupon (so $265 net, but no extra nozzles). Is the "better deal" $260 unit B stock? Hmmm, my one data point would indicate as much - but you know where one data point will get you. Other than these quality control issues (and it could have had something to do with shipping as well - though the unit is very well packaged in custom cut stiff foam), the SV01 appears robustly designed and manufactured, with a good feature set for the money. I hope my replacement unit allows me to actually use them. I will update my 1 star initial review, hopefully, after successfully setting up the replacement and using it. Update 9/24/2020: Received a replacement unit, but the X-gantry was also out of level by the same amount. Seller had contacted me in the meantime and opened a dialog. The sent a quick video on how to adjust the level on the X-gantry. This was a different procedure than was described in a few posts on the Facebook Sovol Group, and involved an adjustment of the eccentric nut that holds the gantry. Easy adjustment, but the procedure should be described more widely since quite a few people struggle with the leveling of the x gantry it seems (and hence bed leveling). Also it is worth noting the SD card slot accepts the card in the upside-down orientation (contacts facing up), so keep that in mind! Once I got the X-gantry level, bed leveling was a breeze, got the printer talking to the latest version of Cura (which now includes a file for the Sovol , so no manual changes needed), popped in the SD card and selected the XYZ cube file. Off it went, and made a perfect XYZ cube right off the bat! So great support from Sovol via Amazon, a great printer (after an easy adjustment - it just needs to be more available), equals 5-stars.

Finally a very well built machine!
Amazed at the quality not just of the machine but of the prints as well, not just the benchy that printed at better quality in half the time of a k1max but things I designed printed like a champ and not easy flat stuff either. Even assembly was pleasant. They have the bolts for every step in a bag in order with nice hand tools not just easy stripped allen wrenches. This is my fifth printer and by far the most well built machine. And ofcourse its open source full mainline klipper, no ecosystem trap. If you want a printer that forces you to learn ssh protocals and linux, how to replace motherboards and change thermistors three times a day rather than print then you should buy from other companies that will absolutely do less than the least they can do to give you the most well polished turd that constantly needs something done to it. Sovol has gone above and beyond, guide rails, not dinky rubber wheel guides, real sturdy aluminum frame with added rigid corner braces, The z axis has four motors! A big thick beautiful bed that just stays on the bottom and leveling consist of a super fast eddy scan that takes a few seconds, I haven't had to slide a piece of paper in and out a single time. Self feeding system with sensors that will pause a print if filament isn't being moved, not just run out sensor, That little feature alone would have saved me thousands in lost print time, filament waste, If you are in the 3d printer abyss of never ending breakdowns, like I have been this well built machine will be a hugh relief. Thank you Sovol for producing a good product. I had a choice, two p1s's with ams or this beast and I am glad I chose this beast and now I don't see a choice. Stop reading reviews and hit the button unless you would rather work on printers than print with them. Bamwho? that's what I'm talking about.

So close and yet...
Update: I purchased a hotend from Triangle Labs and finally the clogging issue is resolved. The printer still requires frequent tinkering but at least the hotend works now and, as a bonus, replacement nozzles are cheap now. I ordered this printer 6 months ago. It is my third 3D printer and this one seemed like such an obvious choice: A design that was thoroughly tested by the community (via Voron) before it ever went into production. At first, it delivered. A large build plate and speedy, high-quality prints. Wow! But then I got my first filament clog... Okay, sure, printers clog sometimes. But even after I cleared it, it seemed partially clogged and I got uneven extrusion and nothing would stick. Nothing - no filament tool, cold pulls, leveling or drying or banging my head against the wall would get it to print a damned thing until I bought a brand new Sovol nozzle, which wasn't cheap. With the new nozzle, it printed like new... for a few weeks. Then another clog and again, it could barely extrude. Note that this was just using PLA and occasionally PETG, no carbon fiber or other exotic stuff. I'm using the same brands of PLA and PETG I've used successfully in my CR-10 and I3 Mega for many years with no problems. So after weeks of fiddling, I bought the Micro Swiss (expensive) hotend that everyone says cures the dreaded SV08 clogs. I only got one or two good prints and bang! More clogs. Yes, I checked the idler and no, the pin isn't out of place. Yes, the extruder has plenty of pressure. Yes, I've tried other filaments. Yes, I've leveled it a thousand more times. Yes, I've tried a different hotend cover that allows more cooling. But it still acts like it has something stuck in it and no, there's nothing stuck in the tube between the extruder and the hotend. Believe me, I've spent countless hours of research and fiddling and replacing and trying fixes and there seems to be no permanent fix. Google SV08 clogs if you think it's just me. When it has a new nozzle, it does a great job and it's really fast. But speed doesn't mean much when you spend all your time taking your printer apart or waiting on replacement parts because it's not working. Big disappointment, I would not purchase again.

All things considered, a great printer
So this is more my journey dialing this printer in than an actual review, but let me just start by saying for the price, I think that I made an excellent choice with this printer. For a review on the product, there is plenty on youtube once you really search. I have been looking to replace my first 3D printer, which was XYZ Da Vinci 1.0a. I wanted better, but didn't want to pay more. At first I gravitated to the Creality Printers, looking at machines like the Cr-10 mini and Ender, but their limitations, particularly the Bowden Extruder had me wanting something with a bit more. I would like the easy ability to print filaments like TPU, and I also wanted a glass bed so I could build with ABS. I came across the Sovol SV01 based on a negative review I saw on Youtube. The Reviewer pointed out a good half dozen reasons why this was a better printer on paper than the Cr-10 mini and Ender 3, but had difficulty getting it to print nicely. It struck me as an odd review. I dug more, and I found that multiple 3D printer reviewers who owned a good 5-10 printers in this price range would consistantly name the SV01 as their "Go-to" printer. That told me enough to take a leap. I am so far very glad I did. I think if I had not been cautious about getting the setup right, due to paranoia from the first review I saw, I would be frustrated, instead, I tuned it all up before I began, and have had some beautiful prints so far. Here is what I noted needs to be done immediately to have a good first experiance with your SV01: 1) The power supply on mine was set to 220V. Plugging it in will do nothing unless you switch it to 110v first. There is a tiny red switch recessed in the back of the machine. Make sure that is flipped to 110 before starting up. 2) Multiple people complained about loose bolts they noticed after printing. , I saw some of that. The printer comes with a full set of hex wrenches. Tighten up everything before you begin. 3) The Print head was very loose and wobbly when I got it. Would have resulted in shotty prints. Tightening the roller tension isn't obvious either. What you have to do is take the little wrench provided to you and slide it into a little metal spacer between the roller and the plate. Loosen the screw, then turn that spacer until the roller tightens (Only up to 90 degrees) and tighten the screw back down. Do this for all the rollers until it is tight, but rolls freely for a precise print. 4) The fan blower for the hotend is only held by one screw. If that screw gets loose (and under heat, it will), then the blower will eventually swing down into your print and break. To avoid this in the short term, just duct tape the other side up so it wont fall. The long term solution is 3d print a better one found on thingiverse. The original is only 3d printed anyway. 5) I opened up the extruder, and there is a small black plastic guide between the extruder and the hotend. I noticed that it was pretty wide open guide. Ideally, there should be some PTFE tube placed inside this. I had some PTFE tube, so I cut a section about 1/2" in length and put it inside. If you don't have any PTFE tube, just buy some for $5.00 or so with this purchase and you can add that in right away so you can be set to print things like flexible filament. With those housekeeping items, this printer should be a solid purchase. PLA has been beautiful, ABS has been doable as soon as I dialed it in. Going to be trying more filaments, but I am impressed with how clean looking my prints are. If I am to call out the negative, this is just a little too "underground" of a printer so far. There isn't dedicated online forums for this printer, and the website is hit and miss for information. You are going to be figuring some things out for yourself. Hope that will change with time.

Nachdem ich mir den Sovol SV08 bestellt hatte, waren meine Erwartungen nicht sehr hoch. Ich besitze ein paar Bambulab X1C und andere und bin dementsprechend etwas höheren Standard gewohnt. Der Sovol kam sehr gut verpackt bei mir an und auch der Aufbau war unkompliziert. Ca eine Stunde und er war bereit. Über den mitgelieferten USB-Stick konnte man auch schon direkt den Klassiker drucken, das Benchy. Habe es mit der maximalen Geschwindigkeit von 700mm/s drucken lassen und es war nach 12 Minuten fertig. Qualität siehe Bild. Das Verhältnis zwischen Geschwindigkeit und Qualität hat mich positiv überrascht. Er ist, mangels Einhausung, etwas Lauter als meine Bambus aber da er bei mir im Hobbyraum steht ist das absolut ok. Der ganze Aufbau wirkt sehr stabil und Wertig. Die Bedienung ist ebenfalls selbsterklärend. Unterm Strich ist es für diesen Preis ein super Drucker. Hohe Druckgeschwindigkeit ohne Qualitätseinbußen und großes Druckbett. Würde mir, wenn ich Platz hätte, einen zweiten Kaufen.

VIP: Very Impressive Printer
I decided it was time to upgrade my positively geriatric and poorly-Frankensteined CR-10 with something a bit more modern and powerful, and while it's still early days, the SV08 has so far blown me away and is absoultely worthy of five stars in my opinion. It's not perfect, but perfection is difficult to gauge, and a bit subjective, for a 3D printer of this calibre and size at this price point. I'll try and explain. I'd say that the one-hour assembly time that Sovol states is optimistic at best unless you've already built an SV08 or another "mostly-assembled" CoreXY printer before. It took me a couple of hours, but I'd imagine prior knowledge of 3D printer assembly, a decent electric screwdriver and a good understanding of the manual will help to have this thing built in an hour or less. Overall it wasn't difficult at all, though there were some areas of the manual I didn't fully understand (unsure if it's the fault of the manual or the reader, probably the latter...), so I also consulted a video someone made going through the assembly process. Either way, once it was built, I was impressed by just how sturdy it felt. After the initial set up, an update of the firmware, and some calibration, the SV08 has already been giving me some excellent prints. For one thing, it's scary how fast this thing can move. Very very impressive stuff for someone coming from an old bed-slinger, to see just how quickly this thing can lay down material. I've not built anything massive yet, mainly just small items such as a case for a music player (pictured) but a 350x350x345mm build volume opens up the opportunity for some big prints. It's not quite as tall a build surface as my CR-10 was, but I'm happy to sacrifice 5cm on the Z axis for an extra 5cm on both the X and Y axes. I'd imagine this'd be a great printer for decor, storage, cosplay, all sorts of applications that call for some larger printers. I still have some dialling in to do for this printer. Prints aren't perfect yet - namely I'm encountering a lot of stringing between gaps and other such artefacts that can surely be eliminated with some tweaks to temperature, cooling and retraction settings, but in the meantime it's nothing that a bit of post-processing can't fix. A quiet 3D printer this is not! I will say that I don't hear anywhere near the amount of stepper motor whirring and whining that I heard with my CR-10, but that's possibly because the fans drown it all out. The mainboard cooling fan is small and loud and runs constantly, and the part cooling fans scream like a hairdryer while it's printing, but I'd imagine a solid door between you and the printer will surely help. I also hear that the enclosure kit you can buy for this helps some; I have it but haven't fitted it yet. Just keep in mind that out of the box this is not a quiet printer by any means. The beauty of a printer like this is that it's on the more barebones end of the 3D printer spectrum - it's derived from the Voron 2.4 and is mostly open source. And sure, the 2.4 has a bigger following, and Sovol surely had to make a few compromises to create the SV08 as a cheap and mass-producible version of it, but there's still a thriving community supporting this printer, providing fixes, upgrades and plenty of advice. For example I know that I'll be able to quieten down the printer significantly by replacing the fans, and I'll know exactly what to do because people have done it before and posted guides and 3D printable parts. Overall, I'd say that if you're looking for a big, fast, advanced printer on a budget, you can't go wrong with the SV08. You get a hell of a lot of printer for the price, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anything better without spending two or three times as much. It's really impressive to see just how far 3D printing has come since I got my first printer in 2018, and while the SV08 isn't cutting-edge or objectively 'perfect' by any means, the fact that such a capable printer can be so inexpensive now, is truly mind-blowing to me.

This is my first time buying a 3d printer, not exactly plug and play and need to tinker a bit. Quite happy with the purchase, although there was a hiccup during installation and there is defect here and there, the after sales service help me solve the issue and give me back partial refund while keeping the item

Surpreendeu pela facilidade no manuseio e interface intuitiva, nivelamento funciona muito bem e a extrusora é bastante confiável! Realmente recomendável como primeira impressora para se adquirir experiência e colocar novos conhecimentos em prática!!
