This is a great gentle face wash. It does an excellent job removing makeup, sunless tan, and everyday buildup without being harsh on the skin. I tend to have drier skin, and this cleanser works really well for me because it cleans thoroughly without leaving my face feeling tight or stripped. I also love that it’s unscented and very gentle. I’m pretty sensitive to fragrances—I can’t even use scented laundry detergent or body wash—so finding products that don’t irritate my skin can be difficult. This face wash has been perfect for that. It’s simple, effective, and a great value, especially when you buy it in bulk. Definitely a staple in my skincare routine.

I’m in my early 70s and until recently had normal to delicate skin. In the last year or so, my skin has become extremely dry and all the products that I used for five decades are not adequately moisturizing. The La Roche-Posay hydrating cleanser has noticeably improved my skin along with drinking more water. The cleanser easily dissolves my facial and eye makeup. It’s so gentle that even if I get a drop in my eyes, it’s does not burn or irritate. It’s reasonably priced and a bottle lasts me for a few months. It’s a rare product that actually does what its label promises.

Good basic cleanser. No fragrance. Non drying. Good for my very dry skin. Good price. Comes in tube for travel.

I really like this cleanser, especially because the refill option helps cut down on plastic waste - huge plus for me. It's gentle, hydrating, and works well for my skin, but it barely produces any suds. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind if you prefer a foamy face wash. Overall, still a solid, skin-friendly cleanser.

This is my STAPLE face wash. After buying so many bottles with the pump, I realized I could be more eco-conscious. Additionally, this is a great cost value. This is my one cleanser. I have normal to dry skin, and this has reduced breakouts and noticeably benefited my skin-barrier over time. The ingredients are so much cleaner and more hydrating than other popular skin cleansers. I tell all my friends and family they need to be switching to a MOISTURIZING cleanser!!

Odorless and has clean ingredients. Doesn't really soap or foam up when you use it, if that is what you'd prefer. You can use it as an everyday face wash and or mix with an exfoliator. Gentle and effective at protecting skin. The package it comes in is durable, does not spill or leak, and lasts a long time. However, I would rather buy Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, it is cheaper, also has clean ingredients, and feels like the same formula as this one, and comes with more product per ounce. However, this formula is good too, and if you want to use a refill, I have nothing against it.
