Good sounding soundbar, good controls, fuss free
Very good build quality, easy connection to tv. Sound quality is decent, for the price and importantly via the eq and bass setting it is tuneable to your preference. Voice is well produced, mids are relatively smooth but controlled, bass is decent enough to present sufficient depth. Most importantly is a pleasant and non fatiguing sound in tv, movies and music. To prevent auto power off don’t mute your tv, just turn volume to 1 and unit will stay on, on mute it will turn off after a few mins, power button brings it back to life and it resyncs with to tv no problem. Great product for the price, better than other £100 sound bars I have heard.

Pleasantly surprised
Initial thoughts having just set up my new soundbar. Installation was simple, power and HDMI ports are clearly labelled and the included cable was hooked up to the ARC HDMI port on the TV, so my TV remote controls the volume. Sound quality is very good for the £87 I paid on a prime day deal. There are three sound modes Dialogue, Sport and Movie and three levels of bass. I found voices crisp on all three sound modes which is often an issue for cheaper soundbars, I eventually settled on the medium bass setting as the best fit for my ears. Remote is easy to use but I’d keep the instructions handy so you know what the light combinations on the display mean. Pleasantly surprised at the quality for a sub £100 soundbar, no it doesn’t have the bass of a system with a separate sub woofer but for a smaller room or bedroom I’d definitely recommend it.

Compact and affordable sound upgrade
Pros: The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar offers surprisingly good sound quality for its cost, with good dialogue clarity and spacious virtual surround sound that expands well beyond the confines of the soundbar and TV screen. It's easy to set up and use, with seamless integration with Fire TV devices. The compact design and good build quality make it a great choice for those looking for an affordable way to boost their TV's sound. Cons: Some users may find the soundbar underpowered and disappointing, especially if they're expecting better audio than their TV can deliver on its own. The Fire TV Soundbar may feel expensive for what it does, and it lacks some features that audiophiles might desire. Additionally, the soundbar is only a member of the Fire TV lineup by name, as it doesn't include any actual Fire TV features. Sound Quality: The sound quality of the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar is surprisingly immersive, delivering decent sound for the money. It provides good dialogue clarity and spacious virtual surround sound, making it a great choice for movies, TV shows, and music. The soundbar offers Movie, Music, and dialogue-boosting EQ modes, all selectable using the supplied remote control. Connectivity: The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar connects easily to your TV via HDMI ARC and also supports Bluetooth connectivity. This allows for seamless integration with your Fire TV device and the ability to stream audio from your mobile devices. Size and Design: The compact design of the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar makes it a space-saving solution for those with limited room for audio equipment. The build quality is good for the price, and the sleek design will fit well in most living room setups. Value for Money: At an introductory price of £99.99 (RRP £119.99), the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar offers a cost-effective way to elevate your home cinema experience. It's an entry-level device that will boost the sound of lower-end TVs, making it a great choice for those who've never owned a soundbar before.

5 star for my purpose
The sound bar arrived in good condition. It was easy and quick to set up: I used the HDMI arc cable provided. The unit improves the sound quality coming from our LG smart TV no end. All frequencies are reproduced better, unless you turn the sound up so high that it distorts the bass. It is now much easier to understand both UK and Foreign tv stations and radio. It is neat sized and unobtrusive. It reproduces music independently from a flash drive quite well. You can also input from Bluetooth independently from the TV, but Bluetooth sound reproduction is not as good. Its functionality is simple so it does not have "rinky dink" surround sound or Dolby etc. It does not support extra speakers or bass woofers but we do not need them. If I need better sound quality I can feed the sound through my HIFI. The unit turns itself on and off via the Arc interface when you switch the TV on or OFF. It's got a remote control. If you require just reasonable quality sound for the money without the "bells and whistle"s then I can recommend it highly.

Disappointed
I have several Fire sticks and used a sky box in my sitting room which was connected through blue tooth. As anyone in the same position knows, there's a lag on blue tooth, which you can resolve by using VLC player. This promised quality and ease of use. Neither sadly is the case. I connected the speaker to the ARC input on my TV, a sony bravia 55', fairly new, and moved the the Fire Cube to another HMDI port. For the first reboots of the TV, there was no response from the speaker and the TV speakers kicked in. I shuffled the HDMI connections around several time and eventually the Fire TV soundbar connected. I was thrilled, until I heard the quality of the speaker. My old Sky box was at least as good if not better. As my TV is built into the wall and all the connections are accessed through a tiny hatch I felt it had been a total waste of effort to get this speeker working, never mind no improvement in quality of sound. If you only use the speakers built into your TV, this might be an improvement, otherwise I doubt it will make any improvement to a sound system you currently use. Pros . small form factor Cons . unless it is actually a Fire TV, not a TV with fire stick or Fire cube connected TV, not as easy to set up as advertised. only three EQ settings, little control over the sound output, which all sound the same. was unable to connect this soundbar on Bluetooth. kept disconnecting for some reason.

Budget soundbar that punches well above its weight!
I was looking for a new soundbar and always had a eye on the Fire TV Soundbar, I jumped at the opportunity to buy one once it was released in the UK. The setup is an absolute breeze, just plug in the power supply and then connect the soundbar to your HDMI ARC port using the included HDMI cable, from there you are pretty much done! Don't be put off by it's size, it can pack quite a punch. Although it doesn't support Dolby Atmos that isn't really a surprise given the price, and the supported DTS Virtual:X has no problem filling my living room, the bass is deep and rich, which speech is clear and crisp! The included remote allows you to toggle surround sound, select an EQ (speech, music or movie) and select three different levels of bass. It also has a button to put the soundbar into pairing mode so you can connect your phone via Bluetooth. I cannot fault this soundbar and I highly recommend it especially at this price! It would have been nice if the soundbar itself had an additional HDMI port, given that connecting it via HDMI means you'll lose a port on your TV, however this is easier overcome with a cheap HDMI splitter, and again, for the price I paid, I cannot complain.

Impressive for the relatively low cost 👍
I've just bought one of these as I spotted it in the spring deals. I've been mulling a soundbar for a while. I have Echo devices and thought their sound quality is good given their size. Even the echo dot has a good go for a small device. So, when I saw this I figured Amazon would produce a good sounding soundbar. This soundbar is impressive for it's price. For me it has deep enough bass for my small to medium lounge and the overall sound is very good. It has made a significant improvement to the TV sound and I would say it's certainly worth it 👍

Fabulous sound but the volume increments let it down
First of all, the sound quality is great. Very deep and rich Bass, clear mids and trebles and the option to switch between modes (movie, dialogue and sports I think) is a nice feature. I have paired this with the Firestick on my TV via Bluetooth which was easy to do. There is no delay between picture and sound at all, and it also means you can control everything including the soundbar volume with your Firestick remote. If you need to use the Soundbar remote, it is good and very small. I only gave it 4 stars because: In Bluetooth mode it drops the connection if it doesn't receive a signal, so if you're watching a film and pause it for say 5 minutes, you press play again and the sound comes out the TV because the Soundbar has switched off. There is no good reason to do this if it is plugged in via power cable. I could not find any setting to prevent this. Secondly the volume increments are far too extreme. Level 1 you can hardly hear. 2 - 3 is a massive jump in volume so you could do with at least 2 more levels in between which you can't seem to adjust in the very limited settings. 4 is the loudest I've had it and is the sort of volume you'd watch a movie on if there's no-one to disturb. Quite why it then goes from 5-10 is a mystery, as that's the sort of volume where neighbours would complain. I had to go into Firestick>Bluetooth devices>volume increments and change it to 10(max) - it is just about acceptable but you still find that sometimes level 3 is too quiet and 4 is far too loud. I have yet to connect it via HDMI - hopefully when I do it will not keep powering off when it doesn't detect a signal. I also hope this might correct the volume increment issue but I don't think it will. It does seem strange that it is set so high with almost no flexibility down low at normal listening levels.

Basic-Soundbar in gut - Top Preis-/Leistung
