Works perfect for my use. Wanted to create a smart irrigation system in home assistant. Easy to setup using zigbee2mqtt. Works just as intended for my automations. Now I dont need to wory about watering my plants. Happy Me Happy Plants.

Had real trouble trying to connect the zigbee bridge and water valve to network. I went into my wifi router settings, disabled 5ghz wifi, back to eWeLink app. Zigbee bridge connected and found the water valve itself, also linked to Alexa very easily. P.S. I then went back into my wifi router settings and enabled 5ghz. So now both 2.4ghz and 5ghz are active (as some devices in the home run on either 2.4 or 5). Valve works great! Brilliant product.

Apparently you are meant to remove this in Autumn and reinstall it in Spring because the manufacturer states that its components will break under 5C. Ridiculous. What kind of 'automation' is that?

Great little device — paired with Home Assistant via ZHA in seconds and has been rock solid since. The build quality is decent for the price, battery life seems good so far, and the Zigbee connection has been stable with no dropouts. One important caveat though: if you're planning to run impulse sprinklers off this, be aware there is a significant pressure drop across the valve. I'm on 5 bar regulated mains and found that even with two impulse sprinklers in series, the last one wouldn't rotate — there simply wasn't enough flow getting through. The valve's bore is quite restrictive compared to a full-bore solenoid. For drip irrigation, a single sprinkler, or low-flow applications it'll be perfect. But if you need to push volume through multiple impulse heads, you'll likely need to look at a separate full-bore 12V solenoid valve controlled via an ESP32 or relay instead. Four stars because the smart home integration is genuinely excellent — it's just not the right valve for higher-flow setups.

This has been great! I’ve tied it into Home Assistant, as I’m terrible at remembering to water my plants. It’s made life so much easier — I can set schedules in the Sonoff app, and I also created an automation in Home Assistant that links to Alexa for voice control. Just note that it only works with a Zigbee network, so if you don’t already have one, you’ll need a compatible Zigbee hub or gateway. A really handy little device that’s made my plant watering completely effortless!

Disappointing experience during holiday. The device worked perfectly for about two weeks before my trip, but on the second day of my holiday it lost connection to the hub—right in the middle of a heatwave. This completely ruined the benefit of having it while away. On the plus side, installation was straightforward and, when connected, it performed well, which is why I’ve given it 3 stars instead of lower. However, reliability is the most important feature for me, and unfortunately it let me down when I needed it most.

What I like is the strong connection to my home assistant. It shows lots of parameters as seen in my photo. It offers good battery life. It was easy setup and is great value for the money. No leakage after many months using ptfe tape. High quality and recommend.

I am very happy with the SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 Irrigation Timer. Although I don't use the eWeLink app, I have it connected to Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT, and it works great. The first thing I did, and would recommend everyone do, is update the firmware to 1.0.4. This update fixes known bugs, such as the timer auto turning off when not commanded to. The timer fits great, and they supply a grommet so that it fits most taps, which I needed. It uses the standard UK tap thread (3/4" BSP), which might be different from the US standard. Additionally, it records water throughput in cubic meters per hour (m³/h), which is very useful. The device is very responsive to commands. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient irrigation timer, this is the one to get!

Configuré avec la box domotique Somfy Tahoma Switch comme interrupteur, cela marche parfaitement si pas trop éloigné l'un de l'autre. La compatibilité est limitée puisque uniquement la fonction On/Off est possible. L'état ON ou OFF remonte toujours correctement. Zigbee 3.0 n'autorisant qu'une seule connexion il n'est pas possible d'y accéder via l'application Sonoff comme j'imaginais initialement sans le déconnecter de la Tahoma Switch. Par ailleurs cela demanderait un hub ZigBee supplémentaire, car la Tahoma Switch ne semble pas pouvoir jouer ce rôle. Super rapport qualité prix sachant que les autres programmateurs que j'ai pu voir coûtent 2 ou 3 fois plus cher sans offrir de support de protocole de communication domotique. Le paramètrage des scénarios d'arrosage depuis mon application domotique est hyper pratique. À part ça, aucune fuite observée depuis 5 jours d'utilisation intensive et les piles tiennent la route pour le moment, à voir dans le temps. Relié à un selecteur automatique mécanique d'une marque grand publique bien connue, on se fait un système d'arrosage automatique hyper efficace à moindre coût.

Testuję ten zawór od kilku godzin na ogródku (sparowany z ZB Bridge-P) i całkiem fajnie działa. Np. przy zasilaniu z sieci wodociągowej po ustawieniu limitu na 10L nalewa około 0.5 litra więcej, ale trzeba ograniczyć ciśnienie żeby miał czas na reakcję. Podłączałem go też do pompy studziennej i również dobrze mierzy przepływ. Niestety w schemacie scen Ewelink nie ma w tej chwili możliwości wyzwolenia akcji stanem on/off więc może być kłopotliwe sterowanie pompą, gdy się go w ten sposób zasila. Na razie nie zauważyłem innych mankamentów :)

I can confirm this device works with Zigbee2mqtt 2.10.1 and Domoticz v2026.1.

Only used it for about a week now but so far so good. Easy to add to home assistant. Time will tell how well it lasts but for now it does what it says on the package.
