This air fryer is powerful, functions well, and significantly cuts down on cook time. I really appreciate that it doesn't heat up the kitchen as when using the oven. Food cooks evenly, turning crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Apart from air frying food, the unit can dehydrate, toast, proof, broil, bake, reheat, roast, grill, and slow cook. This is my first smart oven & air fryer purchase. I intentionally waited, extensively searching and researching, to find one with a large capacity that heats quickly and offers many functions, particularly proofing and dehydrating. This unit has cut down on the amount of kitchen appliances needed, and I'm very grateful for that. It will also come in handy during the holidays when preparing and cooking several dishes at a time, especially the turkey. I highly recommend it and strongly suggest you purchase it. I obsessed over the choice between this one and the top rated breville. Price played a part but the extensive positive reviews made this my choice. It is truly excellent. I don’t know how they could make it any better! Clean looking exterior and well lit and functional interior. The only issue I had was with using the top two slot for tray. Nowhere does it tell you that there is a left side bracket (that prevents the tray from falling down). This bracket prevents you from pushing in or using those slots unless you insert it partway then lift the rack around this stop. I love it now that hubby figured out that problem. The broil tray is coated with nice amt of non stick material. It heats up quickly and so far everything has come out crispy and pretty true to time expected. The presets are same as menu book but I don’t see a treason to use them as it is quite easy to change settings as you need them. It is very easy to clean if done after each use. It is easy to pull out racks if you buy one of the rack pullers listed on this site. I have not measure internal temp but it seems to be cooking as expected with no burning. I have tried griddle yet but love the idea of two sides . Navigation by knobs is really intuitive. It’s obvious a lot of thought went into R&D. Interior lighting is very bright. Accessories are of nice weight and easy to clean. Use a small brush on basket after soaking. This is a top notch devise and I don’t understand why it isn’t rated on many review sites. Don’t let that sway you; this is among the very best….and I am a picky consumer.

I don't know any other way of saying this, but after going through several highly expensive Breville toaster ovens (all breaking anywhere from 2-3 years, I had given up on trying to find another toaster oven from any brand. But as all of us tend to do, while perusing on Amazon, we came across the NuWave brand, and I happened to see this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill Combo, 2025 New Ultra-Fast Convection System, and decided to pull the trigger and ordered one. Not being aware of the NuWave brand, I knew I was taking a chance, but ordered it anyway. It came in record time (like next day). When I opened the box (well packaged by the way), I found a variety of accessories, trays, a sizable cook book with various interesting recipes, and basic instruction manual and an additional card to register for a full 5 year warranty (which I did quickly). Firstly, this NuWave toaster oven looks great. It is substantial lighter feeling than the previous much heavier Brevilles, but I've got to say that the heat coming from the outside of this NuWave oven is not as hot as what I experienced with the Breville models - now go figure. That was actually a nice revelation because in the past, I had burned myself coming in touch with the outside side and top panels of the Brevilles. But I'm not getting that from this NuWave - now go figure? Granted, it still gets warm - don't get me wrong here - but just not as piercingly hot (on the outside) as some of the other brands do. This entire unit with its various buttons is very intuitive - no having to scratch your head in order to figure out how to do something. And there are a wealth of options. A child could do it, and everything cooks perfectly. We have no complaints with regard to cooking temperatures, and we couldn't be happier. Why I hadn't investigated the NuWave brand in the past is beyond me, and to get a full 5-year warranty was wonderful to say the least. Another thing to keep in mind is that the layout and feel of the interior, makes it easier to clean than other brand models. So this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill Combo, 2025 New Ultra-Fast Convection System gets the full 5 stars from us. It is a quality made unit that still remains light to hold and lift, yet contains the heat much more effectively than some of the other much more expensive (other brand) units that we've had over the past 10 years. Absolutely great Machine. Best air fryer function on the market. Easy to clean. Large capacity. The only negative I’d mention is the 1800W power will overwhelm most 20 Amp breakers which normally cap out at 1750W power flipping the. Breaker. We had to have our electrician come out ant switch breakers to 25 Amp which are good to 3000W. That’s why I rated it a 4 instead of 5.

This is a very good combo appliance for the price. It works well. It also lets you adjust everything to your liking (even turn then inside fan off despite what one review said). I replaced my dying Ninja so I miss a few of the Ninja's features. For instance the light would come on with 30 seconds left and stay on for a while. With the Bravo you have to turn the light on and when it is done cooking, it shuts the light off. Also being larger it takes longer to heat and cook. But these are just minor things I will learn to deal with. I really wanted a french door oven because I am tired of dripping on the door window but turns out to get a decent air fryer that blows from the side, not just the top, french door isn't a choice. This one definitely blows from the side. I recommend against top only fans unless you only like the top done or like having to turn everything over (good luck doing that with a pizza). One last Ninja comparison: the control panel fan on the Ninja was on a thermostat. That means it only ran as needed and even after cooking to ensure the control panel area cooled down. On the Bravo the control panel fan is always on when the Bravo is on and always off when the Bravo is off. This seems like a poorly engineered design. Much better for the unit (and my sanity) if the fan runs as required not simply on and off with the unit.

This appliance is amazing. They have figured out how to put outstanding features and technology in a Toaster Oven /Air Fryer (and it does lot more) into a manageable sized Appliance. I had limited counter space and was concerned that the outside measurements were incorrect. The outside measurements are accurate, it will fit in the dimensions stated, yet the interior is larger than any other similar machines I had previously researched. This appliance does everything that they say it will do. It is very easy to operate. The overall quality is very good. It heats very fast. It maintains the heat that you set it for. The versatility of the 3 different fan speeds is very useful. You are also in control of the amount of heat from the top vs bottom heating elements! The probe is an outstanding addition for accurate results of larger meats, such as a roast! When you have an appliance that is so versatile, and you have complete control of the functions, the food you diligently prepared will taste amazing. The cookbook is extremely useful. It is also attractive on my counter. I am almost 70 years old, and I love it. I couldn't be happier.

Had this for over a year now and still love it. Turns out every entry perfectly. Easy to program, takes up little space and looks as good as it functions. Happy choice and happier results! Expect more years of good food to enjoy.

6 months later ... uhoh, issues surfaced: This is an update on the things I've encountered with my oven. I had to use the replacment warranty thru Nuwave. A few things started making vibrating or buzzing noises. On the pre-heat startup, the fan would make a buzz for about 15 seconds and gradually die down. This sound tells me the bearing inside the fan is having issues ... at just 6 months use. Ouch. They don't offer replacement parts so I opted to replace the unit now before the fan stopped altogether. The oven itself would also start with vibrating (diff from the fan noise) during the heating cycle like something was warped or off balance. It was much louder than the pre-heat noise. It too would eventually die down. None of this occurred until after approximately 5 months in of occassional use. I had to submit a ticket for a replacement and things didn't go very smoothly. They wanted videos taken and sent to them over email instead of using a website that I could upload to on their site. This is a huge problem as even the smallest videos are too big for email. I didn't want to sign up for a 3rd party storage site just for this situation (many reason why I don't use them to begin with). The replacment unit was a different model. I was assured I would receive the same model (but the replacement color and options are different). Another ooops on their part. I'm concerned the enamal baking pan and broiler rack are a little light in construction. These 2 and the wire basket are smaller than what I had on the grill model. I'm wondering how long this will go (another 6 months in?) before another issue comes up. Time will tell ... For now the oven does cook well and I enjoy the food I prepare with it. I hope the baking pan and broiler are easier to keep clean than the ribs on the grill plate. ORIG POST I was concerned about the weight and material used in this oven when I first opened it. It is very light in weight and won't take abuse. A very light gauge material (stainless steel) makes up the outer shell and most of the rest of the unit. It all works well once you figure out a technique and how to navigate the quirks and differences. It really cooks well and I've only experienced a couple undercooks (so I simply put it back in). It is more likely I would overcook and make things a little crispy thinking I needed more time in the cycle. Oops on my part. I haven't burned anything ... yet. :-) The ease of cleaning is ok. The surfaces wipe fairly easily but you have to navigate thru the heating elements when cleaning inside. The door and crumb tray are easy to deal with. The air fry rack is a bit of a pain and doens't fit in my sink for a soak. Why the instructions say put it in the top rack of the diskwasher is confusing as its all metal. Hmmm. The grill/grittle for my model works fine but it is a little harder to clean between the ribs. Again, top rack for the diskwasher if you don't like cleaning in the sink. I do recommend definitely cleaning stuff after EVERY use as this prevents future smoking and smells on your next cook. :-) Like every new kitchen device, you have to be willing to try new things and develop a technique and adjust. It really is very much like adjusting to a new microwave or full-size oven and once you have it down, you really enjoy using it. I do.
