Crosley CR8005F-EM Cruiser Plus Record Player, Dark Emerald

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves it! Works great.

My 12 and 9 yr olds love it! Amazing sound quality!

Bought as a replacement for my son. He is into vinyl. Solid lil record player. Not ground breaking sound but you’re not paying for that.

Love it !!!

For the price, I didn't have high hopes for this record player. I'm pleasantly surprised at what I got! The record player is attractive, functional, and sounds great. I haven't played with the Bluetooth functions; the built-in speakers are clear and plenty loud enough that I haven't bothered with anything external. Despite its good performance, the construction was clearly conducted on a budget. Seams on the case are glued, and not stitched, and the components have a cheap feel to them, though their appearance is average. Still, everything functions well, and the features packed into the player are impressive. The lever to raise and lower the arm is great, and the needle is lowered soooo gently. The arm has a clasp that locks it in place for safe transport. The player features automatic stop at the end of the record, and the turntable itself is supported on a soft suspension, giving it the vintage version of skip protection. In addition to the Bluetooth functionality, there is a phono jack for headphones, and RCA jacks for connection to an external stereo system. Even if there was some expense spared in its construction, the player was clearly made by people who love and treasure records. My only criticism is that the player is powered by a DC wall adapter ("wall wart"). This is fine, but the adapter has no place for storage within the player, which makes porting it around less convenient. Had they built in a storage solution for this, or simply used and AC cord that would wrap up securely, this would have been an improvement. It's a small gripe, and one does not detract from enjoying the player.

I purchased this turntable this past December because I was aching to hear some of my old vinyl albums and singles again. I chose this design out of several I have had in mind and it suited me fine[I have two blankets that are leopard-spotted!]. I have also subsequently purchased more vinyl from Amazon of old and new titles to further enjoy my listening experiences. I love the way it plays. The volume is reasonable. I have used it mainly in my bedroom and took it out once in the living room weeks after my mother's passing[We have lived in our address for 33 years before her passing on Father's Day]. I am very pleased with it and wouldn't mind purchasing another model of this brand in a different design or color in the future. I recommend this player to anyone who loves to play vinyl be it either 33's, 45's or 78's[I don't have any of the latter speed unfortunately]. Don't hesitate, get yours today!

This was a cool vintage record player. I get compliments on it all the time.

This new record player wouldn’t even turn on. Apparently faulty wiring is common with Crosley brand, after reading others experiences online. I knew they weren’t made to last, but I didn’t expect it not to work at all. I was so excited to play the box of records that a friend gifted.. such a bummer. I should have done my research first, and will invest in a better brand instead of this piece of junk.. or find a nice one secondhand. Don’t waste your time.

Sometimes it makes the sound of the vinyl weird but it’s only if the vinyl is in bad shape or it’s wobbly. I don’t know how to fix it but I recommend

My daughter is following the trend of wanting vinyl like many other teens. I didn’t want junk but also didn’t want to spend a fortune. T Swift sounds great to her! Can play 45s or LPs built in speakers and doesn’t take up a lot Of space. It’s portable if she wants.

Safely arrived. The box was wrapped properly. The item works fine, no concerns with it. Love the color! It is heavy. Easy to learn how to it works.
