Secrets
This sixth volume of the Claymore manga sees Clare and her colleagues continue their battle against the male Awakened Being. The group has suffered severely so far but Clare may just hold the key to defeating their foe. This is another good volume of Claymore and although the action probably isn't as good as it has been in some of the previous volumes the plot itself definitely advances somewhat with revelations about those Claymores involved in the Awakened Being hunt and suggestions of the organisation they work for not being all it seams. The ending of this volume is also very interesting and leaves things in a good place for future volumes.

awesome
I love this series. The artwork is very grown-up and there are some amazing pictures in it. Also, the story is very good, very much enjoying this series.

A Brutal Enlightenment
Disclaimer: Claymore SHOULD be started from Volume 1 and read from there, as the story arcs flow from volume to volume. The Volume starts with the fallout from their first attacks on "The Awakened" male the group was ordered to kill in Volume 5. All the ladies are rather beat and bloody, but the battle continues. Miria does her best to do some damage control, but in the process, only enrages the male further when he realizes her strength, and before long, even she is worse than she ever wanted to be. All seems lost, but Clare steps up to the plate begins the transformation into her true self. The battle sways in the girls favor, but not without surprises and a glimpse into "Pandora" by the end. The second story introduces Ophelia, a sinister rogue "Claymore" with a knack for some really twisted games. She becomes the first true villain in the series as she decides to truly torment and test Clare to her limits. The arch doesn't fully expand until Volume 7, but the start is a good taste of things to come. The series as a whole is wonderful, it keeps you engaged and gives you enough action and story with quality characters to keep you wanting more. If you need a Manga series to start on and don't mind some blood and mature themes....this is your starting point. If you're a seasoned vet, you should already know by now. Buy Volume 1 and get to reading!!!!

Another stellar volume in one of the best Mangas I've read.
Clare... You are so awesome, I chose to name one of my guitars after you. The fact that you are simultaneously the strongest and the weakest warrior is a dynamic that I enjoy reading about. The long odds you face and defeat in every battle shows that it takes more than raw strength to be mighty. And with the rate that the other claymores are being wiped out in this series, by my reckoning you should be at least number 39 by now. Having seen the anime, I figure they ought to be noting that the sheer loss of fighters leaves your rank up in the air. After all, if three of the mightiest claymore get killed by a monster that you end up defeating single-handedly (Sometimes literally) than should they really be laughing at you and calling you weak? Great read, as always. Couldn't put it down. Ordered the next.
