Why does the box say that it contains chemicals known to cause cancer to the state of CA? What are the cancer causing ingredients?

The company has to abide by a CA law that requires it to disclose carcinogens in their formulation. I called the company and the diethanolamine (DEA) is the troublesome substance. I hope DML reformulates without it; ? love this stuff but haven't used it since.😔

Is DML lotion cruelty free?

The ingredients used in Person & Covey products are not derived from animals, however, the appropriate testing to legally make this claim has not been initiated.

Does this product sting your eyes if your sweat carries it into them?

Yes. It stings badly if it gets in your eyes. That is my only complaint about this product. I live in Arizona, and this is the only sunscreen that actually works for me. I still use it and suffer through the eye stinging, though.
