I received a sample of these from pinchme.com and fell in love with the flavor! I ordered this pack so we could have a healthier summer trip and for my daughter to take to camp. The flavor is great, soft and easy to chew, and just an all around hearty snack that's easy to travel with! Less salt and not greasy like other meat snacks,all while being free from 9 allergens so just about anyone can enjoy them!

These are the BEST beef sticks on this planet. My daughter is SO GIDDY cause they are top 9 allergy free. This is a game changer for my family. My daughter is finally getting protein in her diet that she LOVES the taste of. I wish I could give a MILLION STARS!!!!!! Thanks a MILLION Lorissa's Kitchen!!!!!!!!!!

Dry and poor taste. It’s like eating unseasoned cardboard. They definitely changed the ingredients. Will not repurchase.

Great taste

I found and purchased a 12 pack and 24 pack of the Original Version(OLD) of these beef sticks back in late June and early July and fell in LOVE with them. When I went to re-order, and also looked at my Subscribe and Save order, I saw that the Original sticks were being replaced with this new version with a yellow wrapper called Slow Smoke. It had a tagline, "If you liked the Old...You're going to love the New" so I ordered a package. After receiving them, I can say that I LOVE THE OLD but just barely like the NEW. The old version with the white wrapper had a very nice unique flavor and the newer version in the yellow wrapper just has a more generic smoked beef stick flavor that can be bought anywhere. They're still good but can't understand why the change when the originals were so good??? Frustrating because I thought I had found the be all end all to what I was looking for in beef stick snack.

These arrive with an expiration date in April. It's February now so it's 6 weeks until expiration. They taste good and the meat isn't full of gristle like some meat sticks so that's a positive. I think they try to make a healthy product and I will buy these again.

For quite awhile now I have been purchasing the old Lorissa's original flavor beef sticks as my family's go-to healthy protein snack and we have been loving them. I've counted on them for a quick protein boost on the go. Now that I can't get the old recipe ones any more, I recently purchased a box of the new ones. For starters, I have trusted Lorissas for so long that I forgot to check the new ingredients. That was my fault. I just noticed today that they now contain YEAST EXTRACT which is a form of MSG. I didnt notice that until today when I ate my second one. Extremely disappointing. I tried one right away when they arrived the other day, and was not crazy about the changed flavor, either. Drier texture, and the smoke flavor overpowers everything and makes the flavor sort of one-note. That's pretty impressive, and not in a good way, considering it even contains the glutamic flavor enhancer. The only positive is that the casing is thinner and not as tough as the old ones sometimes were. I'm sad to say that I will not be buying these new ones again, though. I'm so disappointed, as these were our first choice snack to always have on hand. Back to square one in finding a yummy and healthy snack. Bye, Lorissa's.
