Two. The subscription, however, gives access to additional phones.

Once the camera has been mounted on the wall, can it be removed and relocated to a different room?

Yes. The actual camera parts comes off (the square part). You can either use the multi stand in another room or take down the wall mount and reinstall it in another room.

Do you have to have a yearly subscription?

Nanit Insights is powered by a tiered subscription service, and can be activated both in-app, and on my.nanit.com.

Is this connected through wifi? So if wifi goes out will this not work?

The camera is connected via Wi-Fi. If the internet goes out there is the ability to have a local connection to keep the video stream. If the Wi-Fi goes down no video stream will be available.
