I LOVE this lamp. Just screw the two halves together, clamp it on, plug it in. The remote was already paired with the lamp, and it has a sticker with pairing instructions if it should ever need to be paired again. Nice and bright, easy to adjust, perfect height. Sturdy, holds each position when it's adjusted. This makes my work so much easier. Great deal for the price.

This is a great desk lamp and honestly better than I expected. The remote control is a game-changer — I can turn it on and off from across the room without getting up, which feels very “future me” and I’m not mad about it. The lamp is fully adjustable in pretty much every way that matters. You can aim it in any direction, and the light heads themselves swivel too, so dialing in the exact angle you need is easy. No wrestling, no weird shadows. The price point was excellent for what you get. It looks sleek in black and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. Most importantly, it works perfectly for painting and mixed media art — bright, flexible, and exactly where I need the light to be. Solid buy. Would absolutely purchase again.

This is a fabulous desk lamp - it’s so versatile in terms of how many angles and places you can clip it to. Also, it has varying lighting levels and hues for you to choose from to fit your mood. I almost forgot to mention that it comes with a remote for added convenience, which is a plus!

Purchased for around $20 - 4/10/2025 This light is amazing and you should look no further! I was just expecting a very simple light when I purchased this, but this has FAR exceeded my expectations. I bought it to study at night without having to turn on all the lights in my room and disturb my sleeping doggo and partner. I expected a "dim but good enough" type of light that would be just enough but this light is incredibly bright (in a good way!). The light levels are adjustable, both brightness and the actual color (from yellowish light to bright blue-ish white. Installation is incredibly simple; screw in the goose-neck to the clamp section and then install the clamp on your desk. There is plenty of clearance for the clamp, almost 2.5 inches, perfect for probably any desk and it screws in very easily, even with my wrist issues. The clamp is perfect, and one of the main reasons I liked it is because it doesn't stick out too much behind your desk, which I like to keep as close to the wall as possible with as little a gap as I can. The light positions can also be adjusted independently, each 'arm' having 4 total settings (0, 30, 60, 90 degrees) so you can make the light an 'I' , some degree of 'V', an 'L' or a '-o-' 180 degree shape. The goose-neck is great, super flexible but rigid, supports its weight even if the light is sideways. It is sheathed or coated in some matte texture that makes it look incredibly clean, unlike other goose-necks which start to look ugly when you twist em around. It is also pretty easy to re-straighten it pretty well, in-case you're a little OCD about weirdly shaping it (I know I am!) It comes with a remote (batteries are included, just open the cover and remove the plastic to get it to work). The remote has a 1h timer, settings for the brightness and color temp, and a few presets for light level 'moods' (coffee, reading, computer, etc). Remote is really responsive and instantly triggers the light. The remote is quite click-y though and makes a little noise as a result but feels high-quality. The light also has settings directly on top of the head in-case you don't want to use the remote. Without any real adjusting, the light is about 2 feet tall from behind my desk and over my monitor. You can have it go straight up to about 30 inches or as low as you want if you play around with the neck. Can't comment on the quality of the light just yet in terms of longevity or flickering, but in every other category, this has been perfect and I am extremely happy with my purchase and likely to buy a second or third one! I bought it for $20 but it comes across as something worth double that at the very least.

Very nice desk light and attaches easily to your desk or counter edge. The two "wings" on either side of the center post swivel around so you can direct the light. Also has remote control so you can turn if on or off, change the intensity of the light or change from a bright white light to a nice softer color of light. I use it to light up my work desk for building electronic projects and it works wonderful. Good price and appears to be well made.

Overall, this light is really good. The lowest level is great for illuminating my desk and keyboard for computer work, and the highest level is sufficient when I'm working on model kits or fiddley work. The light stays where I put it, it's easy to install, and it does just what you expect it to do. What you don't expect is for the buttons to start breaking in less than a year. The switches themselves are fine. But this lamp suffers from the same problem many of the "plastic covered" buttons on many devices, like crockpots, remotes and stoves. Eventually, the one-piece plastic cover cracks and starts to fall apart because it's not that sturdy if you push it every day. That's the reason I took a star off.

I greatly appreciate this LED desk lamp. Drapes over my monitors (which are mounted) quite nicely and still has plenty of “reach” to illuminate my keyboard. It assembled relatively easily and I have not seen any signs of flickering or light failure.

I wanted a very bright lamp for my computer desk, one that would clamp on the back of the desk and would go up and arc over the monitor. Looking at all the offerings available, This one stood out to me. It was the right size to clear the top of my monitor, it was 24 volt vs 12 or 5 (USB) so I knew it would be bright. It had few returns and good reviews so I hoped it wouldn't be trash. Well, I wasn't disappointed. This light is well made, easy to assemble, and comprised of substantial components. It holds it's shape, doesn't droop, or sag and it is very BRIGHT!. Just what I wanted. It lights up my entire desk, end to end, brighter then I had hoped it would. Unfortunately, the remote wouldn't pair with the lamp. I emailed Motumen about this and listed the procedures I tried to accomplish a successful pairing They replied within hours that the lamp must be defective and they would send me a new lamp. Three days later the lamp arrived and it works perfectly - even the remote control. Motumen stood by their product and i would not hesitate ordering another one of their products again. Their customer service was exemplary 5 Stars If you are considering a lamp like this one, you won't getting this Motumen

Black lamp purchase but it doesn't have buttons on top of lamp like picture instead on attached plug in wire. Didn't come with remote Light quality not baf
