Not as expected
So, I picked this workbook up for my 12-year-old, who has pretty poor handwriting, thinking it might help them master cursive. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite do the trick for us, and I ended up getting a different one. The cursive style in this book just didn’t match what we were used to. I think this might be because it’s an American book—maybe they teach letters or join them differently over there. Some of the letters didn’t look "right" compared to what we’re used to here, and it made it a bit confusing for my kiddo. That said, if you’re in the US or used to this style of cursive, the quality of the book itself is quite good. The pages are nice and thick, so there’s no worry about pens bleeding through, which is definitely a plus. The exercises are laid out in a way that’s easy to follow, with lots of practice space, and I could see it working well for a child who’s comfortable with this style of writing. Just a heads-up if you’re not used to American cursive—might be worth checking out an example before buying. But if it matches what you’re after, the workbook is well-made and sturdy, and the content is thorough!

1. There are some spelling and grammatical errors. 2. The fonts used for the ‘fill in the blanks’ exercises are not in cursive. 3. Exercises for naming items (3rd picture) is not appropriate for ages 8-12 (upper elementary).

This cursive handwriting book has been a great addition to our afternoon. It has been beneficial for my daughter by providing great guided practice to improve her cursive handwriting skills.

Cursive isn’t offered in our local schools anymore, and my 9 YO is now getting to the age where he needs to start “signing” for stuff. This book is a great way to get them familiar with cursive writing.

Originally tried WWT and it just didn't work for my kid. Letters seemed awkward and not very fluid. This book is much better and I can see an improvement in his letters already.

This is a good cursive workbook. There are a few flaws, but nothing major. I would buy it again.
