Not really for fountain pens
please be aware that this paper is externally colored in the writing area by something. I mention this because while fountains pens do work on it, the ink from the fountain pen doesn't actually absorb that much, rather it dries on the surface. Choose your inks carefully. Go with a dye based ink rather than a particulate based ink. Works great with a ball point or a marker based writing implement. Haven't tried pencil on it. Still is a fun set up for sending letters to pen pals etc. Pricing is decent all things considered. Thumbs up for the vibe. not so much for FP use.

Great Quality!
This paper is very cool. It's thick and lined on both sides! The air mail envelopes are very unique and eye catching! Classic look & color.Very impressive and recommended.I will order this again in the near future.

I purchased this to write letters to friends overseas with my fountain pen and new found hobby of letter writing. (Starting my own quiet, slow anti social media revolution, join me). What I love about this set (and I will be buying them again) is that it lined / printed on both sides, a lot of stationary are pretty on one side and then plain and illusion breaking on the other.Those receiving the letters absolutely love the vintage nostalgic vibe it gives and have said it enhances the enjoyment of the letter itself.Some are now picking up the pen and writing back.. <evil laugh> yessss yesssss come to the dark side and join the revolution.. we are slowly and quietly building ranks.Join us.

Great quality
I bought this vintage looking stationary to write to my daughter that was in MCRD ( marine boot camp). Perfect! The paper is great quality. Made writing kinda fun. I could have emailed and had a company print it out in letter form but snail mail is snail mail and this made it more worth it. I love the look, the size was pretty decent, the color is a vintage airmail look and it was very affordable!
