I just received this tumbler this morning and I’m already a huge fan. It’s very well made, sturdy and beautiful. The spout cover is secure yet easy to open. It covers both the drinking spout plus the vent hole so it is absolutely leak proof. The coffee flows out just right with it being vented. Fits well in my vehicle drink holder. I needed a side handle due to having arthritis in both of my thumbs. It helps with this tremendously. I looked at so many tumblers and I’m so glad that I found this one.

This isn’t a bargain mug; but, as they say, you get what you pay for. The locking mechanism took some getting used to, but works very well. It is a very high quality mug. It looks and feels nice, and is relatively easy to clean. It keeps hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold. Ice lasts all day. The handle is comfortable for different hand sizes… and it is easy to drink from (once you master the lock). It fits well in car drink holders, as advertised. Would make a good gift. We’d buy it again.

I bought the 35oz BrüMate MÜV mug mainly for coffee and warm drinks, and it has been fantastic. It has the same high-quality construction and insulation I expect from BrüMate. Quick highlights: - MagFlip lid with magnetic latch when opened - Comfortable handle design - Truly leakproof when locked - OctaLock adjustable threading system - Excellent insulation for hot or cold drinks - Durable, premium build The MagFlip lid is smooth to open and magnetically latches into place when flipped back, which keeps it securely out of the way while drinking. The handle is very comfortable to hold and makes the mug feel balanced and easy to carry. The lid seals extremely well when locked. The MÜV uses a push/flip MagFlip latch combined with the OctaLock threading system, which feels very secure once fully closed. I’ve tipped and shaken it during normal use, and it stays completely sealed. The OctaLock threading is different from traditional twist lids, so it takes a little getting used to. It isn’t difficult, just a slightly different motion, and once adjusted, it feels very secure and well designed. The insulation performs extremely well. Drinks stay hot for long periods, and just like my Era cup, it also handles cold drinks equally well. The overall build feels sturdy and premium. Magnificent Mug! It is heavy and solid. Best spill/leak proof lid I have seen in 8 decades. This is a key feature for me. Great insulation: hot stays hot a long time; ice stays ice for much longer. I really wanted to rate 4.85, but rounded to a full 5. The opening through which one drinks is small, and there is virtually NO "sippy" ledge/section. VERY easy to scald lips/tongue with hot drinks. It is a learnable skill but for new users - Be Careful! By day 2 you have adapted, and can sip hot coffee, carefully.

As a mom, I don’t get to sit and enjoy my coffee while it’s hot very often. This BruMate has honestly changed that for me. I can pour my coffee in the morning and somehow it stays warm, sometimes even hot, all the way until lunchtime. I’ve never had a cup do that before. I love the handle because it makes it so easy to carry around, especially when I’m juggling a million things. Honestly though, it wouldn’t even be necessary because it’s truly leakproof. I could toss it in my bag without a second thought and not worry about spills at all. The size is perfect too. I’m not constantly refilling, which is a big deal on busy mornings. And being able to lock the lid is huge with a toddler around. That alone gives me so much peace of mind knowing there’s an extra layer of protection. It also just looks really sleek and pretty, which I love. I just got this one and already use it every single day. I can’t wait until I can treat myself to the new Strova. It looks like it might be even more perfect. I will absolutely be buying this again, buying them for friends, and telling everyone I know about it. It’s one of those products you just want other people to have and love too.

Definitely can tell it’s a high quality cup. Silicone covering of handle/body feels nice in the hands and helps cup not slip all over counters etc. I ended up returning because of several irritating details about the cup: 1. (Many other reviews mention the difficulty of opening the lid) It’s not that it’s difficult to twist, the problem is that the grip you have on the lid is designed badly…..engineering of the cup leaves the only “grip” you get on the lid the flip top….this flip top is less stable/sturdy so in my opinion will lead to snapping off the lid in the future since ALL the pressure from twisting is only on that flip top part. It’s not *as* difficult when the cup is cold/empty, but when you have hot liquids the lid is much more difficult to remove. 2. There is a tiny square/hard edge “cutout” right where you put your bottom lip to drink from the lid. While it’s nice to identify correct mouth placement when not looking at the cup/avoiding spilling, IDK why they had to make it a hard edged square. just smoothing out the edges so that shape would flow back into the lid would have been more pleasant on the mouth, but the hard edges shape is so irritating. 3. Cup advertised as keeping hot liquid hot 6+ hours but this was not true in my experience. While in a 76 degree house coffee was back to lukewarm at 2 hours with lid on, but flip top up. I have a way cheaper “reduce brand” coffee cup which lasts 3 hrs before needing reheating with lid on/flip up. Disappointed. Cup was definitely spill proof which was nice to toss in a bag or whatever, but lid difficulty + weird mouth cutout + low hot time made it a no for me.

I have several Brumate products...blender bottles, can/bottle holders, and mugs. I have been using the 25 oz Muv for my coffee for a while and absolutely loved it. However, the small plastic "tines" that lock the flip lid broke so I ordered this 35 oz one. I LOVE the color, how it keeps my coffee hot/warm for most of the day (I'm an all day sipper), I love how the flip lid locks so you can turn it upside down or throw it in your bag and not worry about leakage. I gave it 4 stars though, because they changed the way the lid turns and locks onto the base. The older version was a sort of 180 degree screw top and now you just turn it about 1/2" and pull upward. The problem is it is very hard to turn to unlock and hard to grip to pull it off, the older method worked better. Brumate is still my all time favorite for beverage holders. They make superior quality products that will last a very long time.

Buy this mug! It keeps my coffee hot for 6 hours+ , I can bring it to work and have coffee all day. And you can throw it around and tip it over and not a drop comes out . Haven’t tried for cold but I’m sure it works great as well. Absolutely recommend! And the large size is wonderful too.

Love this mug. Got me as close as possible to a plastic free mug that won't leak. Interior fully stainless steel, lit is the only piece that has plastic. I've tried some other options like ceramic mugs, but still had plastic lids and I would always end up spilling for one reason or another when I wasn't paying attention or they tipped. This one is lock tight.

The colour blue agave is brighter than the photo and looks really nice. It doesnt leak at all and retains temperature very well. Have not tried it with hot beverages yet though
