I highly recommend this fan! It's very powerful but very very quiet, which I was not expecting. It's lovely to be able to turn it on and control it from the other side of the room thanks to the remote- and to actually FEEL the airflow. This is not like your average fan. I know there are other fans that also have a remote but they don't compare at all to this! It gets very warm where I live and there is always some sort of activity I can be doing (gardening, sitting on the patio, having a BBQ outside) but if it's too hot I don't feel up to it. The mist attachment is a game changer. It truly makes such a difference in handling the heat outside. I took the fan to my parents house to show them how cool it was (literally and figuratively) and they've also decided to buy one too.

I love Shark products for their quality and ease of use. I have so many in my home, but was initially skeptical when I ordered this. So many brands claim their fans are quiet and are still super loud even on the lowest setting. I historically have purchased Vornado tower fans, and they are obnoxiously loud with poor air flow. But oh my GOSH this fan is quiet! It’s beyond quiet, it’s practically silent. There are so many features - adjustable angle with wider oscillation distance (up to 180°, so you can actually get full room air flow), quiet, nice and cool, but powerful air flow (even on the lowest setting), it can be used corded or CORDLESS (hello!) and can convert between tower and table top. It’s also great for both indoors and outdoors. Assembly was extremely easy, great quality and the base is very sturdy. Seriously, what is not to love about this fan? Wish they made this years ago; definitely cheaper than running the AC all day and night. Worth every single penny. I also recommend purchasing the fan cover to keep it clean when not in use during the off season. Very easy to get on and off and keeps your fan dust free. Pictures make it look like it's a nice size fan. I didn't specifically look for dimensions, but the "portable" unit is much larger than expect. It's wonderful, but just a bit more clunky and doesn't really fit the area I wanted to use this. Overall, I love the fan. It's got great airflow (first weekend of use). It's quiet (if working in a small office room with it on maybe level 3 you can barely hear it and it does not interrupt phone or video calls. Remote is a nice feature, but I wish it was possible to control with smart plug. If you turn off the power to the fan it remains on (since it's battery operated). No good/simple way to make this a "smart" fan so having to rely on the remote is one negative I had. High speed and turbo speed really blast a lot of air! Wonderful in larger areas, but certainly not as quiet. Very pleased with the purchase overall. Just wish the "portable"/head unit wasn't so bulky. A little expensive for a "fan", but it works as expected.

I wasn't convinced at first with this fan, I wanted to replace my old bedroom tower fan with something new and modern and saw this one and decided to give it a try. Pros: -Sleek fan -Great air flow movement! - Quiet even at has settings - Love love the portability feature, I can take it outside with me - Battery life is decent for outdoors, hasnt died on me yet. - Magnetic remote attachment - Mist capability (haven't used it yet). Cons: - I wish it could be a bit taller its too low. - The power, fan and rotate button should be reorganize, but I keep hitting the power button in the middle. - Price is a bit steep for this fan, should buy it.

Amazing. Worth the money. So quiet and such good air flow! I haven’t used the mister yet but I’ve already bought a second one for my daughter. The highest speed setting will blow you off your seat! Love this fan!

I was sad when my past-it’s-prime outdoor Hunter fan died, and knew I had to replace it for the dog days of summer in South Alabama. I did my research, read all the reviews and landed in the semi-pricey option of this Shark. It is feature-rich, and over performs in my opinion. Set up is dead simple, has a remote, that attaches to the fan magnetically to prevent misplacing it, it runs in AC 110 power or if you remove the cord will run for hours on its own rechargeable battery. (The higher the cordless setting, the fewer hours, as you’d expect.) it can also be removed from the pedestal and placed on any flat surface. I love being able to use it in places where we don’t have easy access to a plug. It has a power boost function if you hold down the fan button for about 20 seconds, and even in the power boost setting which kicks butt, you can still have a normal conversation because it doesn’t make much noise at all. Like all good fan it has an oscillating function, and lots of customization on the aperture or range of the oscillation and the direction, up or down of the air flow. We use it both inside and out, and then today-the cherry on top! It comes with a mist function! Now I have had this fan all summer and only today set this up because my old Hunter fan had a mist function (or shall we say a mist dysfunction!) the Hunter’s mister was drippy and gross because the water always leaked, and the attachment to the fan was a poor design. Because I’d had that last experience I was in no hurry to attempt connecting the mister to my Shark fan. I have been missing the boat! Without even looking at any instructions, I was able to figure out how to attach the mister, toggled it on and BINGO! I may take back some of the mean things I have said about the month of August. This fan is a game changer. Spend the money, great purchase!

I bought this for the outside mostly. It is great on hot nights to cool off and to keep bugs away with the gently breeze. I also use it without the stand for the dogs when they are outside as well. Very quiet and works very well. I really like the fact that it can be charged so there is no need for a plug when it is in use. It is sturdy and looks great.

Update- Surely I got a bad one cause no way they are selling this mess! I can’t even use the remote to turn the fan on if it’s not plugged in. I can’t use it to switch modes if not plugged in but NOT to simply turn it on. This fab is just flat out weird. I will turn on the oscillation and not sure what I’m gonna get. Sometimes it will work for a few minutes & sometimes a bit longer but it will just stop the other direction & sometimes it works fine. I could go on with many issues but it would be a book worth of issues. I will say that I did reach out to shark via email & all I got was the generic return email stating to look at the manual,which is frustrating like I didn’t do that before contacting. I would not recommend this fan because if you get a bad one, you’re basically stuck with it and it’s not a cheap fan. I’m really irritated with this fan. I love it, can tell it’s an amazing fan but unsure if it’s something that is just the way it works or if I got a defective one. I will turn on the oscillation feature & sometime later idk maybe 6-10 minutes I’ll notice I’m getting warm & look over & it’s stopped & facing the opposite direction. Most all of my complaints are with the oscillation. I’ll use the remote to make it move to the left or right so that it is facing me tgen turn on the oscillation & it goes back to where it was oscillating & not in my direction. I mean what is happening? I understand I can use that button to move it to the left or right (i also wish It would maybe let you select that & not go as far to one direction) but when the oscillation is not hitting you what’s the point if it goes back? I have to constantly get up & physically move the entire fan. It’s strange. It has to be faulty or I’m just not understanding it but I’ve looked up the manual so? Itw frustrating. And I was out of town unexpectedly for almost 2 weeks after I purchased it so just noticing.
