X5 Camera fits well in the case. The case is good quality, soft on the inside, and has a durable shell that will protect from drops/impacts.

Perfect fit for the Insta360 X5 and provides much better protection than the original case that comes with the camera. Would have been nice if there was room for an extra battery.

I recently purchased the BRDRC Carrying Case for the Insta 360 X4 and X5 (I have the newest, the X5) and I couldn't be more happier. The inside of it is extremly soft, and has a velvet feel to it to give your X5 the needed protection to prevent scratches, scuffing or marring off your expensive investment. It comes with a little lanyard as well to attach to the case, or you could use it to attach to your X5 if you had a cage to go around it.The investment was well worth the money, and I would buy this all over again. I'd highly suggest investing in this case for your X5 if you don't use a cage, but if you do have a cage on it, it won't fit. You could always go the silicone route which would work just fine. Fits. Protects against (at least) short falls / bumps.

I bought this item to protect my X4. I was worried that the premium protective lenses were on the “fatter” side. This thing works really well. I’ve put in the rubber protection as well and it still fits. Don’t expect this to fit your under water body housing though, it is not for that purpose. Despite what it can fit in, It’s still compact enough to fit in a small body bag where I put my rigdance paracord wrist strap, insta 360 stand, telescopic wand and a PYGTECH create mate card reader. In other words, it fits my device like a glove. The inner compartment of the item has felt to protect your camera from scratches as well. Really satisfied with this and couldn’t ask for more. Well, maybe if they can make it withstand a 20 feet high fall, that would make it better, but that’s asking for a lot (sarcasm).

Vorweg:Ich habe mir diese kleine Tasche für meine Insta360 X5 geholt und bin nach einigen Wochen im Einsatz absolut zufrieden. Sie erfüllt genau den Zweck, den ich mir erhofft hatte: meine Kamera sicher und kompakt zu verstauen.Eindruck und Passform:Die Tasche ist passgenau für die X5 konzipiert – allerdings passt sie nur ohne Cage hinein. Wer wie ich mit zusätzlichem Zubehör arbeitet, muss damit rechnen, dass es bei manchen Adaptern etwas eng werden kann. Ich nutze zum Beispiel einen magnetischen DJI-Mount-Adapter, weil ich im Alltag viele DJI Action Cams verwende und das magnetische Schnellwechselsystem von DJI bevorzuge. Mit diesem Adapter unten an der Kamera lässt sich die Tasche zwar schließen, aber die Unterseite sitzt dann nicht ganz perfekt. Für mich ist das kein Problem, da der Schutz von Display und Linsen für mich oberste Priorität hat.Schutz und Sicherheit:Die Kamera lässt sich problemlos mit der originalen Lens Cap von Insta360 in die Tasche legen. Dabei habe ich jederzeit das sichere Gefühl, dass weder Display noch Linsen beschädigt werden können. Der Innenraum ist gut gepolstert, sodass selbst beim Transport in einem Rucksack oder einer größeren Kameratasche alles bestens geschützt bleibt.Fazit:Eine einfache, aber sehr effektive Lösung, um die Insta360 X5 sicher zu verstauen. Wer eine schlanke, platzsparende Tasche sucht, die Display und Linsen zuverlässig schützt, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen. Besonders praktisch für alle, die ihre X5 auch mal schnell in eine andere Tasche packen wollen, ohne sich Sorgen machen zu müssen.
