I got this, as many others did, to have in the medicine cabinet in case of need. Iodine has many uses and Lugol's (also known as strong Iodine) is the best kind to buy. It will definitely stain so use it judiciously! It doesn't come with dosing instructions because there are so many ways for people to use it. It is approved for use as a topical antiseptic but has oral uses medically. The bottle did come with the product leaked all over the wrap. I've seen other products like this send the bottle with a cap and the dropper on the side.

I ordered the ePothex Lugol's 2% Solution due to the touted protective effects of this tincture. The tincture is comprised of 94% purified water, 4% potassium iodide and 2% iodine. There are no other ingredients. The top of the bottle is shrink wrapped for safety, comes in a glass bottle and has a glass dropper. The glass bottle and dropper doesn't leaching anything into the product, like plastic can, and ithe bottle is brown in color to protect the tincture from light degradation. The tincture itself is dark brown in color. The product tastes terrible, but that was expected, as the only ingredients are water potassium iodide and iodine. It also burns your tongue a bit, so you may wish to mix the product with some water or juice. The label is very simple, easy to read and high quality. On the label, you will find the company's name, address and website and the lot number and expiration date are printed on the bottom of the bottle. The bottle contains 2 fluid ounces / 60 milliliters. There is no serving size and the bottle has a note that states "sole responsibility of the user to determine the appropriate use". Overall, compared to other products I have used, this product is top quality, hands down. There is no unnecessary additives, the company adequately identifies itself on the bottle and product is well packaged in a way that doesn't leach anything in the tincture and protects it from degradation.
