Jamaican Mango & Lime Transition No More Relaxer Serum Mild

I first purchased this product from Sally's Beauty Store in my area. I fell in love with it. It is sort of like the "Rio Product", now called "Keratin and costing a mint at the salon" :); however, it restores your hair to its natural condition allowing you to wear a straight style or a curly permed afro, without cutting your hair off. The application is simple and straight forward: Wash your hair with the shampoo included in the kit, blow it dry while combing it with a wide tooth comb, accomplishing the drying process within 15 minutes from application of the serum, and rinsing it out and applying the conditioner. I take it a step forward and use a little cholesterol and Mane N' Tail conditioner just to give myself some body. My hair is as it was when I was a young girl: soft and manageable. If I apply heat, which they recommend, I get a very silky straight head of hair. If I simply roll it on rods, I get a beautiful curly afro. I have even plaited (that's small individual braids for those of you too young to remember that term) I get a natural curl to my hair and a beautiful afro. No more relaxer for this girl. The seller did an excellent job of forwarding the merchandise to me and it was exactly as described on Amazon. I truly love this product; however, like Rio, because it works, it will no longer be sold at Sally's. Go figure, eh?

I have been in the process if transitioning for 2+ years and wanted to try this product to see if I could make that transition a little smoother. I wholeheartedly regret ever purchasing this. It turned my hair into a tangled, knotted mess. I mean - there are right angles in my hair!! It is visible with the naked eye where this product was applied because the texture of my hair is so different (and tragic) where it was applied. It is almost impossible to flat iron this hair now unless I iron 20 strands at a time because the curl pattern is so erratic. I now have to grow out this product while also growing out the relaxer - I am not a happy camper.

yes t work for my hair become natural much betta than perm easy break out my hair dont use no more perm but i suggest yall whoever want use natural please use dis best ever i have love it

This product makes my curls pop and it's great for blending natural hair with relaxed hair. It's simple to apply, then blow dry and flat iron. It softens your hair too.

Great. Does not straighten hair but softens tight coils.
