Well worth the money, lovely selection of fossils, I had a little issue with the first kit but they fixed it straight away and sent a replacement kit. I can't fault them at all. Communication was great.My son is really happy and loves his fossils. Thank you.

Ok, so if like me your saw the big trilobite and the shiny fossil and though great I'll buy it - then you may be slightly disappointed when it arrives. The text does say 'assortments may vary', 'typically include...' and 'specimens may vary' - so be prepared, you may or may not get what you wanted.Those I received were a good selection of fossils (only a few duplicates - gastropod, bivalve and urchin) of reasonable size (largest about 6.5cm, smallest about 1.5cm) - safely packed and well presented, including a guide book to aid identification and activity book. (if I had the trilobite and the shiny fossil it would have been excellent - you may be lucky)That being said, I do not think you can go wrong with this, there is space to add more fossils (if you don't mind them sharing) - the quality is great and variety good, but most of all for the current price (compared to others on Amazon) it is a great set.

Arrived on time and contained some good fossils but unfortunately no dinosaur bone/tooth just some poo! Luckily my grandson was excited but as there is a picture of a roaring dinosaur on the packaging I was disappointed.

I bought this as a gift for a six year old and I am sure she is going to love it. This is just the thing for people looking for a top quality educational gift. Certainly good value for money.

Not worth the money.

Wasn't as ultimate as expected. Looked a lot better on the advert. Box had been opened. My son will love it though so that's all that matters

You can tel a lot of hard work has went into this, the quality of the book, the presentation of it when i received it, the thank you note , was even so polite and lovely, This is how a company should be. was an absolute pleasure, purchasing this item, Highly recommended. Many thanks.

I would definitely buy this item again and the company is FABULOUS! They went above and beyond my expectations.I received an email from Megan at Discover with Dr. Cool asking if I received my product and if it was ok...I wrote back to her the following: This was a definite big hit with my 5 year old great nephew at his birthday party as he would not look at anything else but this. The only problem I had with it is that he dropped the shark tooth on the floor (which wasn’t very far) and it broke into 3 pieces; which of course made him cry but, I do understand that it is geared towards older kids. I just didn’t think it was that fragile since it was for kids 6 and up. I would definitely buy this again if I had to buy another present for a little kid. My only suggestion is that you might want to state some of the pieces are a little fragile...lolMegan replied immediately and said she would replace the shark tooth for me. They shipped / replaced the shark tooth free of charge and added a little something extra for my nephew as well. I was not expecting this when I wrote the above; but this company went above and beyond for my nephew!!

The fossils are close but not quite as good as the pictures on the website represent. They are rather small. The enclosed book helps identify them, but the fossils are not labeled. However, if you are looking for a beginning set of fossils for a child, these are pretty good.

Kiddo wanted a dinosaur tooth. She has spent her own money on fossils and such. The tooth in this kit is rather decent quality compared to what she has seen in the science store near one of the college campuses in our area (kiddo is ten, but loves that store!). The additional fossils are just an added bonus for her. I highly recommend this kit!
