Excellent value, works great
For the last 5 years or so since I hired a weekly "lawn service" to keep the yard mown, edged, and hedges trimmed, my 10-15 y/o Echo HC-150 hedge trimmer has been sitting un-used. Recently I had a reason to use it and although I was able to get it started it would not run at much more than idle on the choke. Suspecting that the carb was fouled with old gas and not sure how to clean it without tearing it apart I looked here in Amazon for a potential replacement and found this thing for a measly $15. Most of the reviews were not only positive but excellent so I decided to give it a try. The kit arrived within two days and it included the carb, the fuel lines including some replacement primer bulbs, an air filter and a new spark plug. For 15 bucks! I have paid more than that for just a primer bulb at a big box store! Anyway, using a Phillips screw driver the old carb came off without a hitch but I had a bit of trouble getting the throttle cable detached but that was due to the danged arthritis in my hands. Anybody with functional opposable thumbs will have zero issues removing it. The new carb comes with two replacement gaskets and I don't think it really matters which one goes where when attaching the new carb, but I used both, one on the engine block side and one the air filter side. The carb comes with the proper primer bulb already attached so that's taken care of.... After fiddling a bit again to get the throttle cable attached to the new carb and screwing the carb down to the engine block with the two original screws, I put the new air filter on, tightened filter cover with the original wing-nut, and job done! Filled the tank with relatively new proper gas/oil mix and pumped the primer 5 or 6 times, set the choke, and it fired right up. After less than a minute it revved to full speed and I had my hedge trimmer back in service! This kit is a screaming bargain and seems to be OEM quality. The installation process is almost stupid-proof (as long as your digits work the way they're supposed to). Haven't run it for very long yet and if the thing ends up failing in some way I'll update this review, but I'm confident that it will work great for a long time. (As a real plus, the same kit will also work on my old Echo SRM-210SB string trimmer. I'll probably buy another kit for it too.)

Worked Great
The kit was super easy to install and a great value. I was surprised you could get a carburetor and a fuel line assembly for this price. You do need basic mechanical skills and tools to replace these items. Also make sure you match the kit to your model number weed eater. The best way to check your abilities beforehand is to try removing your old assembly. If you can't, you need to take it to the repair shop which will cost about as much as the weed eater. The new rubber grommet that houses the fuel lines is extremely hard to push in the fuel tank. This is a good thing so it won't leak. Pay careful attention to the orientation and connections of the old assembly as the new one needs to be positioned and connected the same way. You won't be able to twist it around once it is in place. To get the grommet in the fuel tank, start by pushing one side of it in the hole. Then take a blunt instrument ( I used the blunt side of a carpenter pencil) and put push in on the side of the grommet while pushing down and work your way around until the assembly is completely in place. You will think it doesn't fit but it does. Also the fuel tank must be removed before attempting this. Good luck and it is financially worth the effort!

Works Great (with one small issue)
The carburetor fit my Echo weed eater perfectly. It was easy to install and the extra parts were a bonus. However, where the throttle cable connects to the carburetor, the new carburetor did not have a โrecessedโ slot for the metal end of the cable. This means the weed eater will idle high since the throttle cable cannot retract all the way down to idle. Other than this one problem, everything works great and the value is outstanding.

Works great
I was leary of a 15 dollar carburetor but I was wrong. It fit as it should and runs nicely. Don't hesitate to buy this.

Super Simple To Install, Fired Right Up
I have an Echo HC 150 Hedge Clipper that I neglected for two years because of health reasons. When going thru my equipment this Spring my clippers would not hold idle. I tried pulling the original carb, soaking it in CLEANER, and did everything I know as well as what I found online. Bottom Line, I needed a new carb. What is real nice about this is that it comes with new fuel lines, plug, air filter, and extra primer bulbs. Those extras cosy roughly $8 by themselves in a kit. For the price you can't beat it. The most difficult thing about this INSTALL was getting the grommet seated on the fuel tank. I recommend that when you have the carb off, put the grommet assembly in because the carb is not in your way. Makes it easier. Don't use any tools putting grommet in for the reason of accidentally cutting it or gouging fuel tank. You want a real good seal here. Pay attention to the gasket positions when taking the old carb off. Take pics with cell phone if you don't trust memory. Install carb and hook up lines to carb. Prime and go through regular starting procedures. Mine fired up on the fourth pull when gas made it into the chamber. I was considering replacement and decided I was not dropping $300 on new clippers. Most of my Echo products have lasted 25 years. I am still running my original PB100 blower since 1993. Echo will run as long as you take care of them,. This was worth the price and simple to install.
