The weight was what I wanted. Sadly one of the weights had a poorly stitched seam and the pelletized metal was falling out and the weight was unusable. I don't think the stitching was a lack of quality, it was a weakness in the fabric that appeared to have emerged during packing and shipping due to a weaving flaw that could have been inconsequential if the flaw had been at a different spot in the pattern. Worth the cost and would have been ideal except for the slight misweave in the fabric.

Edit - I have used these for 10 days now and they have started leaking sand. It is a very fine sand, but when I take them off there is sand left on the surface where I removed them. This will affect the weight of them eventually. Very nice weights, I am using them for my ankles at the time and they are very easy to put on and take off. The fit is good since it has a velcro strap that secures them. Although I am thin and they do slide down my leg to rest on the top of the ankle. I have not used them on my wrists. The material feels durable so we will see how they hold up. I do recommend them.

I’m not using this for its intended purpose, I am using it to weigh down our inflatable decorations. So far it’s working good.

These ankle weights worked well for about a year and initially seemed to be good quality. Unfortunately, there is a significant design flaw. The weight appears to come from very small iron pellets or granules that are placed directly inside the soft, stretchy fabric. Over time, the fabric and seams have started to separate from many places, and the iron filling is now leaking out. The tiny particles get everywhere and create quite a mess. For something that is repeatedly strapped on, moved, and flexed during exercise, the iron filling really should be contained inside a separate, stronger inner pouch rather than relying on the outer fabric alone. I liked the weights while they lasted, but I would not expect this kind of failure after only about a year of normal use.
