Worked Great on My AC Coils and Improved Airflow
This coil cleaner exceeded my expectations. I used it on my home AC unit that hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, and the amount of dirt and grime it removed was impressive. The foaming action really helps lift buildup from the coils, and it was easy to rinse away afterward. What I liked most is that it’s simple to use. Just spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse if needed. The foam expands nicely and gets into the tight spaces between the fins. I noticed better airflow and the system seemed to cool more efficiently after cleaning. Another plus is that the smell isn’t overpowering like some harsh chemical cleaners. It still feels strong enough to do the job without being overly harsh or messy. The cans lasted longer than I expected, and the spray pattern was consistent all the way through. If you’re trying to maintain your HVAC system or improve efficiency without paying for a service call, this is a great product to keep on hand. Definitely something I’ll purchase again.

Do it now - before the summer heat hits!
I’ll confess…. like so many others, I’ve never given a thought about cleaning the coils on my central air conditioner. Then I saw a YouTube video and figured why not? I ordered this product, and today (a couple of days before we hit a stretch of 80’s this week) I went out and did it. I noticed last summer that the performance had gone down a little - especially on the hottest days. Taking off the outer jacket panels was simple enough. I was careful not to lose any screws AND to not strip them out when re-tightening them. I was a little surprised at all the grass and dirt inside, but what else could I expect after 15 years of never cleaning the coils. I gently brushed off the grass, leaves and dirt, and then sprayed the coils down inside and out and let it sit for 5 minutes. I then rinsed them off and repeated the process. A LOT of dirt was running out with the water after the first application, and much less the second time. It looked a LOT cleaner. Not perfect, but clean, as the aluminum fins will oxidize regardless. I put the jacket back together (no extra or stripped screws), turned on the power and set my thermostat for 60 degrees to make sure it still worked. It did! Of course the air outside was in the low 60’s so I can’t quantify how much of a change it made, but I figured it was the equivalent of changing a clogged filter that hadn’t been changed in 15 years. If I called a local HVAC service company to do the job I’ll bet they would’ve charged me a minimum of $150 to do the job, so I’m liking the 90% cost reduction by doing it myself. I trust my HVAC/boiler/fuel oil guy implicitly to be fair and do a good job, but this took less than an hour and there was little risk of me damaging anything. I doubt I’ll be doing it religiously every year, but I’ll definitely be keeping a closer eye on it.

H-Vac Coil Cleaner
[60+ female] This was my first time of cleaning the outside blower of my H-Vac unit. After checking prices and brands at local stores, I decided to order these instead. More for the money and good reviews also helped deciding on this brand. I watched YouTube videos of people using it, then went to work on it. I was very happy with this product and how well it cleaned all of the gunk off the coils and surface of the blower. And a huge plus was it was much easier than I had expected with this product doing such a great job. I did flush it off with the water hose on a gentle setting to remove the product after letting it sit for15 Minutes. Also, it only took ONE can, and honestly, I expected to have to use all three cans. Being that it had not been cleaned in years and this worked so well, it only took the ONE can. I suggest this Simple Green to everyone for their H-vacs.

Effective Cleaner with Good Value
This coil cleaner works well for maintaining AC units-- sprays easily and helps remove built-up dirt and grime from the coils. It’s straightforward to use and doesn’t require complicated setup. The foaming action helps reach into tighter areas, and there’s a noticeable improvement in cooling performance after cleaning. It also feels like a good value, especially in a multi-pack. Only minor downside is that the foam performance can be a bit inconsistent depending on how it’s applied, but overall it gets the job done well.

works as described
works as described Had no issue with spraying foam after shaking very well & used can upright spraying side to side. Use eye protection a mask and gloves to be safe. Turned off power to unit while using product & had opened unit to vacuum out debris at inner base. I sprayed through outside fins did not need to remove sides of A/C condenser as my unit wasn’t that dirty with caked on debris. left it on for an hour foam had disappeared and no damage to exterior of A/C paint finish. I hosed off using shower spray to not have forceful water bending coils. could see water coming off was dirty as it ran down sides. . after done could see through coils I purchased 3 pack of cleaner but one can was enough to do my 4 ton unit all sides on outer unit. - inside wasn’t needed this time. would have needed two cans if did inner coils. shared can left with others. would purchase two to ensure have enough Happy with results

Exceptional Cleaning Power—Makes AC Maintenance a Breeze!
I recently used the Simple Green Foaming Coil Cleaner 20oz to service my home’s HVAC unit, and I am beyond impressed. If you've been putting off cleaning your coils because it seems like a chore, this is the solution you need. Why It’s a Must-Have: Powerful Clinging Foam: The foam really stays where you spray it. It lifts dirt, dust, and grease out of the fins effectively, reaching deep into the unit where a brush or cloth simply can't go. Convenient Design: The ability to spray upside down is a total game-changer. It allowed me to get into the tightest angles of the evaporator core without the can sputtering or losing pressure. Professional Results: After one application and a quick rinse, my coils looked brand new. I’ve noticed a definite improvement in my unit's efficiency and air cooling speed since the cleaning. Safe and Non-Toxic: I love that this formula is self-rinsing on condensate coils and has a very mild scent. It’s much more pleasant to work with than the harsh, caustic chemicals found in other industrial cleaners. Final Verdict: This is hands-down the best DIY maintenance product I've bought this year. It saved me a $150 service call and did a professional-grade job in about 20 minutes. Highly recommended!

Very easy to use
It’s a spray it’s very effective. It’s concentrated you leave it on about 10 to 15 minutes and then you spray it off. I only needed one so for the next two years I got a can for the.

Concentrate coil cleaner.
Works great for cleaning my AC coil. Added some cleaning solution into a small pressure sprayer and water pumped it up and hosed down the coil, used water hose with nozzle cleaned it all up, ready for the season, do it again next year.

Un producto conveniente.
Muy util para limpiar los serpentines metálicos de una unidad de minisplit. Es importante notar que el producto debe diluirse con agua, y se debe utilizar un atomizador que tenga una bomba de presión.

Good
Excellent. PAY ATTENTION: this product is concentrated, so mixed with 2/3 water and 1/3 of simple green, you will get 3 gallons final product. This is a lot. I did use around 300 ml for one air conditioner so still remaining around 3400 ml in the gallon 😳😁

Works well, but expensive
The foam cleaner does a good job and cleans surfaces effectively. I was happy with the results and it was easy to use. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I feel the price is a bit high for the amount you get. If it were more affordable, I would rate it higher.
