I recently tackled a kitchen renovation project where I needed to install new handles and pulls on over 20 cabinets and drawers. As a first-time DIYer, I was worried about getting the holes perfectly aligned, but this King&Charles Cabinet Hardware Jig made the entire process a breeze! This item worked perfectly I needed it to get through one kitchen I can see it doing a lot more than that. If I wasn't retiring I would definitely buy the metal one which is not much more money and I could see it lasting longer but this product did excellent especially for the price

Works 100% as advertised. Lets you perfectly place drawer and cabinet handles repeatedly. Well worth the money.

For the price it’s great. The hole size, drill bits supplied and jig are great. Couple minor flaws but for the price aren’t a big deal. 1. Lining them up needs to be perfect, when you tighten the pieces down sometimes they shift, sometimes they’re crooked, you just have to double check it 2. The measurements for height adjustment don’t make sense. For instance, had a 11 inch drawer, center is 5 1/2” inches, I set the height to 5 1/2 and it’s about 1/4 inch off. Not sure how that works but that’s what happens every time.

My husband absolutely loved this. He said it was the most handy and best tool to use for installing our cabinet hardware. It saved him so much time. He gave it 5 stars.

I was and Charles cabinet hardware gig and auto center punch kit with drilled bits and was amazed at the quality of the product at the price point, which was under $13. I saw many other kits of this type with prices varying up to $40 that I don’t think were any better built. I’m extremely satisfied with quality and longevity that I can expect to get with this kit.

I've built kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, dressing room cabinets, and quality cabinets for every room in the house that needed new cabinets. But I always dreaded installing pulls. It's just not fun and a 1/16" error just ruins the cabinet doors and drawers. Sure, I've made simple jigs for drilling the holes precisely, but they were never really precise. UNTIL NOW I expected a commercial jig to cost much more, but Amazon has 'em. And the cheapest (under $10) is really high quality in a $10 tool. I had reservations but bought anyway. I could hardly wait for mine to arrive so I could use it. The kitchen in our new home has all factory-made expensive cherry cabinets. They're quite beautiful. But the installer failed to install two cabinet door handles . . . the ones over the ovens. So I found and purchased two new handles here on Amazon. They matched the rest of the cabinetry handles perfectly. But I didn't want to drill holes in the two cabinet doors by simply measuring and marking or taking the time to make my own 1-time jig like I used to do. So I searched Amazon and found this kit. When it arrived, within 20 minutes I had the two cabinet handles installed to perfection! No wallowing out the holes to get them to fit. Perfect alignment has been achieved first try! I'm thrilled! The ABS parts keeps metal from touching the finished woodwork. No scratches or mars anywhere; and accurate? Absolutely! I don't know how they could design, manufacture, package, and ship this kit for under $10. I'm so thrilled that I might just buy another couple to give away as presents to my like-minded friends. YES. Even if you only have one pair of cabinet doors or pulls to install, get this kit.

1) Understand that for $11 or $12 the buyer should not expect a professional level piece of equipment. That is not what you're getting. Once assembled, this is a somewhat flimsy, fragile template. If you are a DIY person installing handles or pulls in one kitchen install, it will get the job done, IF you are very careful, check and recheck measurements and take your time. It would also be best if a second person holds the jig firmly in place while drilling. There is no clamping feature, so getting an accurate result depends on holding the jig firmly in place while also holding your drill level and perpendicular to the surface. ALSO, SEE THE NEXT PARAGRAPH AND MY PHOTOS FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT FIRST STEP.... 2) If you take the following first step when assembling the jig, you'll avoid the mistake that caused my first handle to be crooked. (See my photos.) In step 1 of the instructions, "Clip the longitudinal ruler into the transverse rule"...you must square the two rulers and hold them in a perfectly square position while tightening the two thumb screws. IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY SQUARE UP WHEN TIGHTENING. This should have been obvious to me, but because it doesn't say anything about it and because I was in a hurry, I tightened them randomly and the result was pretty far out of square... So, summing up this review. No professional would use this jig, but it can be used for a one-off project, if used with caution. Having said that, before I install another full suite of cabinets, I'll pay for a high quality, all metal jig with a clamping function.

Worked perfectly to line up and drill 20 handles in my kitchen. Once set it didn't move. The hole punch works a treat too, just insert in the hole and press down and it hammers a mark for you to drill through.

Good quality and nice bag to keep everything together.

Excellent bit of kit. I did 15 new cupboard doors and 4 drawer fronts. All fitted perfectly. Couldn’t have done it without this kit. The punch marker was invaluable and it also included drill bits.
