Classified Series Retro Cardback Cobra Trooper, Collectible 6 Inch Action Figure with 9 Accessories

At first I wasn't interested in buying these retro cobra troopers as I already own about a dozen of the Classified Cobra Infantry and it's Target Exclusive version that also happens to be called Cobra Troopers. But Prime Day had a good discount deal so I ordered 3. I really dig the bright blue paint apps, makes them pop out more than the dark blue paint apps on the classified versions. Nice assortment of weapons, better than the nerf guns but the plastic on the sniper rifle can be bendy after pulling out of the tray. The face sculpt and articulation feel great, perfect for posing multiple troopers in different stances. They're worth the value for army builders who don't have to spend a lot on the Cobra Infantry or Cobra Island Trooper.

This figure strikes the perfect balance between nostalgia and new-school design. The joints move smoothly, and the paint apps are clean. It’s one of those figures you can’t resist posing again and again.

Retro Cobra Trooper has a great look, but using the web gear, guns, and helmet from different figures makes for a less than entirely satisfying army-builder. The figure's knees and elbows are the older-style with pins which is ok by me but may not fly for some; his outfit's got a deep blue coloring looks great, it doesn't match other Cobra Trooper figures but isn't too bright. He comes on that newly-robust GI Joe Classified Retro cardback, and he's very similar to the 3.75" so if you want one for the wall he's a winner. It's not a bad figure, but better accessory choices would have made me love the set a lot more and army-build it. This figure is where they take parts from existing figures and put them together to make a new release which isn't always a perfect fit, each of which is minor but put together left me somewhat frustrated: - The base body from the original Cobra Island Cobra Trooper but the web gear harness from Sgt. Stalker, so the web gear sits a little large and floats off the shoulders whenever you rotate or bend him at the waist. - The head is from the Cobra Officer figure, but the helmet is from that C.I. Cobra Trooper which is narrower, so putting the helmet on this figure causes it to bulge out and lose its hood shape. - The pistol, silencer, and knife come from Stalker and have leg holsters; meanwhile the submachine gun is from the Cobra Valkyrie and the sniper rifle is from Spirit Iron Knife, neither of which have any storage at all since they were designed to mount to those figures' backpacks and don't have their own back-pegs, since this figure doesn't have a backpack so there's no storage for them whatsoever. The only accessories left that I haven't mentioned are the Cobra-themed figure stand that every Retro Cobra-faction figure has, and the left shoulder cuff to denote rank, this is a repaint from the original C.I. Trooper and is fine by me, it's not that hard to remove if you don't like it. Using pinned double elbows and knees means they move more freely than the newer pin-less versions, and as an older figure he has a disk-hinged neck so he can look up and down great but doesn't have as much side-to-side tilt -- that increased range means he can look straight up which is great for prone sniper poses. Otherwise he has the same high quality articulation as other Classified figures, his left hand uses an up-down hinge while his right an in-out, which is generally backwards from how I prefer it. His drop-down hips are well-lubricated so there's no risk of seizing the way they used to a couple years ago.

This is a great figure, you get 3 guns, a knife, and a stand. I wish all figures came with this kind of load out. I think all figures need to come with a stand, a main weapon, a side arm, and a knife or machete.

Ver al soldado genérico de Cobra disparando en esa ilustración clásica, con el logo ochentero, hace que el empaque sea tan valioso como la figura misma. ​• Condición: Si lograste recibir este blíster sin que el cartón tenga "venas" (arrugas por estrés) o sin que la burbuja esté aplastada, considérate afortunado. El contraste del Azul Cobra de la figura contra el fondo explosivo del cartón hace que resalte muchísimo más que en las cajas cerradas modernas. Es una pieza que visualmente "grita" desde la estantería. ​ • 🎨 Calidad de Esculpido y Pintura: La Perfección del "Cobra Blue" Lo que hace especial a esta versión Retro es la limpieza del diseño. ​• El Color: Hasbro por fin clavó el tono exacto. No es azul marino oscuro, ni azul verdoso; es ese azul vibrante y saturado de los dibujos animados de Sunbow. ​• El Esculpido: Aunque reutiliza el cuerpo base de la infantería (que ya era excelente), la aplicación de pintura es lo que lo eleva. El logo de Cobra en el pecho está nítido, perfectamente centrado y en un rojo que contrasta de maravilla. • ​El Rostro: Los ojos pintados con tecnología digital a través del pasamontañas negro le dan una mirada de determinación fría. A diferencia de figuras antiguas donde los ojos eran puntos negros, aquí hay vida (y maldad) detrás de la máscara. ​ 🆚 Comparativa: Retro vs. Cobra Island vs. Infantry Aquí es donde esta figura demuestra por qué es la mejor opción para los puristas: ​• Vs. Cobra Island Trooper (Target Exclusive): Aquella figura fue una pesadilla de conseguir y tenía detalles en negro, gafas de visión nocturna y un chaleco muy táctico. Se veía genial, pero muy moderna. El Retro Trooper elimina el exceso de equipamiento táctico negro y nos da el look clásico de "carne de cañón" que todos recordamos. Es más fiel a la fuente original. ​ • Vs. Cobra Infantry (Retail Release): La versión regular (caja cerrada) tenía tonos de piel y azules un poco más apagados y armas más realistas/modernas. La versión Retro apuesta por accesorios que evocan más al láser de fantasía y un look más "limpio". • ​Uniformidad: Al tener menos "ruido" visual (menos parches, menos pintura de camuflaje), se ven mucho mejor en grupo. Si pones tres de estos juntos, parecen un escuadrón disciplinado de la serie animada, mientras que los otros parecen mercenarios individuales. • ​🛡️ Accesorios Viene con lo justo y necesario para causar caos. El hecho de que incluya armas que recuerdan a los láseres clásicos (en lugar de rifles realistas genéricos) es un plus enorme para esta línea retro. Además, la peana (stand) incluida es un detalle que a menudo falta en las versiones estándar y que los coleccionistas MOC agradecen infinito. ​🏆 Veredicto Final Es una figura Impecable. Es la representación platónica de un soldado de Cobra. La calidad del plástico se siente robusta, las articulaciones (probablemente pinless en piernas) son suaves pero firmes, y estéticamente es un 10 rotundo.

Item muito bem feito e com vários acessórios, a linha classified consegue mordenizar a linha Gi Joe mas sem perder a essência dos clássicos , recomendo

It's a nice figure from my childhood , just way more detailed as figure from the Era . But does look great on display , and comes with extra things that classic one never did back in the day , since his helmet never came off the Cobra Trooper head . Which makes this more easily to display , worth from the seller too . And should picked up G.I .Joe fans , or those die hard collector's out there , who are nostalgic from something from the early eighties .

Figura económica y con accesorios y articulación muy buenas.Recomendado aunque no colecciones la serie.
