How wide is the brim? Not the 8" back flap.

Hi! The brim itself is four inches. My husband loves his so much we just bought my son one. They both have skin cancers - my husband head and face and my son the tops of his ears - now neither one will go out without the hat on. My son even wears his camping, says it's great for hiking and fishing too!

Is this machine or hand washable?

It is machine washable! My husband washed his hat in the washing machine and then let it air dry. The hat held up perfectly!

I just got the hat and wonder what the two black loops with plastic oval rings are for?

I don't know, I just went at looked at mine and it's the first I noticed them. I imagine you could hang mosquito netting or something like that from them. Otherwise, I have no idea.

what are the clips for on the brim? Face cover? how to order one?
