Great gift for a nature living kid, good value for money and made to last

Bought this for our grandsons camping trip. He had endless fun collecting bugs and making little houses for them. Kept him going all day. Fabulous gift.

Which young child doesn't like digging things up and exploring the garden? This Bug Bungalow Insect Catching Kit contains a "safe" area for insects to be observed. The large holder can be filled with a base of soil and then worms, ants and the like can be temporarily placed in there, to watch them run around and do their stuff. This also comes with a little container (that does contain air holes) that has an in-built magnifying glass in the top, which is really good for studying insects close up. I think that the tweasers are possibly a little unwieldly to use and could result in some inadvertent bug-squishing, so we've not used them and prefer instead to just scoop the insects up. The only extra item you might need is a trowel, so that you can break up and expose the soil - but if you've got a garden, chances are you'll already own one of these. All in, great fun for the little ones. It's plastic but reasonably well made and works as it should.

Brilliant for the kids to beable to catch and watch all differant types of bugs.

I have been looking for something like this to bug hunt with my niece. Simple items and easy to use for a two year old who was excited to open the items and gets stuck in.

Got this for my daughter who is 2, so loves it. Helps get her interested in the outdoor world and with the magnifying glass, I can’t decide if she is the world’s greatest big hunter or Sherlock Holmes

Quality made , kids like it

My kid loves it, she's playing with it outside right now. She loves to catch grasshoppers and whatever little bugs she can find. I will say, as a parent, I absolutely love the B line of toys. They're always really well made and sturdy toys. My 9YO son had just about all the musical instruments as a young boy. He had the Dog Guitar, the Cat Keyboard and the Frog Drums. He had the Big base drum with all the instruments inside it. He even had one of the Nylon pop up fort things. I will always buy this brand of toy if I can, they're affordable and very well made. This is the Main line of Toys that Target carries. We've had so many of this brands toys over the years. Great toys.
